I had an extended stay here, and come back monthly. I think I’m met all the front staff and they are extremely friendly, they would acknowledge me every time I left the hotel and when I came back, always asking if everything was good.The front desk clerk Meysam always has a smile on his face and is always willing to help…..hey boss this guy needs a raise :)Overall a good experience and I will continue to go back. Great location, everything you need is in walking distance.Hotel food is good but a little pricey, that is my only complaint, with that said the service in the dining room and room service is fast and friendly.Chris Burke

We went for Father's Day lunch and the food was as exceptional as always. Our server, Chris, looked after us as he has in the past. He was attentive and professional. We highly recommend.

Atlantica Hotel Halifax
My 2-year-old son and I had a great stay at Atlantica Halifax for the Bluenose marathon 2023 weekend. The location was perfect, only a few minutes away from the race start line, and the room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The staff were very helpful; thank you especially to Mansoor for helping bring our stroller, suitcase and all the baby gear up to the room! We would definitely stay at the Atlantica in Halifax again and recommend it to others.

I stayed here when i moved to Halifax & needed accommodation. A wonderful place to stay right at the heart of downtown. Found Atlantica very affordable & the staff were very polite and accommodating. Definitely a place to stay. BTW, the restaurant food is really yummy .... Amazing :-)

This was my third time staying here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They are very helpful with information to get around Halifax, transportation, and knowledgeable about the area if you’re looking for something in particular to shop for. I’ll definitely be back again.The rooms are always so clean and cozy. Everything is filled and ready to use. I highly recommend staying here.The food at the Cannery restaurant is delicious!!! I’ve had the chicken burgers, house salad, arugula salad, yogurt parfait, sweet potato fries, chicken tacos. All superb.

The beds were extremely comfortable and 2 queen sized beds were available, perfect for my family of 4. There was a problem with the availability of cold water but the maintenance crew fixed it within minutes. They offered a discounted rate for wild fire evacuees and were very accommodating with the dynamic nature of our stay duration. We ended up staying a week. The laundry ended up backed up so they ran out of face clothes for a bit but that was understandable given the sudden and unexpected influx of people because of the wildfires. The wifi could have been faster. Overall I was happy we got to stay there.

Cannot fault the staff and service we had. Disappointed the pool and gym refurbishment hadn't been completed on schedule. Location was a little out of the center but then a pleasant walk across the park and around the Citadel got you to town.The buffet breakfast was well worth it for us.

This hotel is kind of pricey, but you get what you pay for and it did not disappoint. The bed in the king suite was like sleeping on a cloud, they also personalized it by leaving a note with my name on it welcoming me to the hotel, which was a nice touch! The restaurant downstairs is really good too, the food isn't skimped on. Nice view of the city also but you can hear the sirens pretty good is the only downfall.TLDR: hotel is good, bed is great, food is awesome. Will definitely keep coming back.

We booked one room for two nights. We were very disappointed. I would give 0 star if I could. We told the front desk that the A/C was not working soon after checking in. She sent a maintenance staff but didn't not fix the A/C. We asked for another room that A/C is working, but she said no other room available and told us to wait. However we checked on agoda, there're rooms AVAILABLE for booking at the same time. We waited 2 hours and the room was still very hot, so we informed the hotel again the A/C is not working. She said she will send a maintenance again but no one came. We couldn't stand the heat and asked for a refund. The interesting thing was that they suddenly had rooms available and maintenance finally showed up but did not fix the A/C again. Their manager was ridiculous as well, she agreed to record our conversation but she changed her mind and said she was not comfortable about the recording at the moment she entered our room , and she argued the temperature setting was 61°F even though it doesn't feel like it and that's personal feelings. I don't know about others but i pretty sure i don't sweat in a 61°F room . BTW, the other available room was finally available when we were ready to leave(check out), and they acted like we didn't want to accept their offer after we were waiting in a hot room for THREE hours. Terrible management and super slow reaction. They reacted only when the customers were really upset. No apologies for any inconvenience at all. Lots of excuses. Totally ruined my vacation. DO NOT book this hotel!!

Atlantica Hotel Halifax
Such a pleasant experience! Kaia assisted me at check in. It was an unexpected stay for me after a hectic, long workday and she made me feel relaxed and taken care of right away. Nazanin checked me out the next morning and was equally pleasant and professional.The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was lovely! I was disappointed that the pool and fitness areas were under construction, but it was a quick stay for me.
