Great little bookstore with a brilliant selection of rare and used books at very reasonable prices. Chris is knowledgeable and friendly and his shop is an asset to our community. You would do well to consider Bread and Roses Books an essential part of your visit to the Old East Village!

Just how you want your friendly little book store...very friendly and full of books! It smells like a proper book shop an' all. I needed a book that wasn't on the shelf and they ordered in in for me just like that. Cracking.

Did you know there is a quaint little used book store tucked into Dundas St right across from the Western Fair Market? Used book store lovers will love this great store, especially as the owner Chris is a great source for inspiration on what to read next. Great prices too!
