Tavern on Whyte
The place has a nice retro vibe with good music, and good options to drink. There's no wine in case someone is a wine drinker, definitely not the best place for that. But they have really good beer and cocktails. They have Wednesday trivia that's challenging and fun. Good to have some drinks with friends and spend a good time.

Great spot for a drink. Foods not bad either. Never an issue with service. Obviously the Caesar is a little over the top. $18 but worth the price in my opinion for a triple pour, litre of Caesar and holy hell the garnishes.

I had a great experience visiting here the other day and I definitely need to go again soon! I went with a friend and had a couple beer and tried their Tavern burger with poutine and I loved it. Menu has a handful of interesting things to try at great prices. The only thing I could think of to make it better would be a bigger place with pool tables but this spot is better for going with someone you want to catch up with and enjoy conversation with over a nice meal or appetizers.

This is one of the best spots on Whyte. It's super inclusive of all walks of life. With bingo night, amazing karaoke, trivia and cheap buckets you cannot go wrong stopping in here for a drink or 10. Enjoy the pride door and sit on the patio. Always a blast!

I was in here for a mere ONE can of beer but the bartender was so exceptionally friendly that I wish I would've bought 100 Hennesseys. He had so many suggestions on places to visit in Edmonton and was clearly supa knowledgable about the area.People were playing MTG at other tables (very cool) and they were showing some Batman tv series with subtitles which was very captivating.

Myself and my husband recently visited Edmonton and we have to say, Tavern on Whyte is hands down our favourite pub in the city! The drinks are delicious, dangerously delicious lol. Our bartender was exceptional.. thank you for being so swift, funny and kind! Also, their Caesars with the maple syrup are to die for!

Bartender claimed I fell on my way out and wouldn't serve me drinks. I never once fell, tripped, or stumbled at all. He wouldn't pull up the security footage and was adamant he saw me fall when I simply never did. He then got security to kick me out and security was aggressive. I don't care what you think you saw, you shouldn't put your hands on a paying customer that simply did NOTHING wrong the entire night. Why does security think they can push me out and grab me when I was only going around the table to the exit?

This place is always awesome. The booze is cheap and the food is good. Karaoke a few nights a week with great hosts. You can't go wrong at the Tavern on Whyte
