Liberty Security - Calgary

It was a pleasure dealing with Andres Bernal at Liberty Security. I had been dissatisfied with my existing alarm system for a long time and every time I shopped around for new systems I wasn't fully convinced. It only took one call with Andres and during our conversation I ended up with a quote for a system that addressed all my needs at a great price. Andres is knowledgeable, responsive, quick and a real pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him and Liberty Security

Unfortunately, have not had the best of luck with this company. Since we got this alarm system we have had multiple issues with the doorbell camera not working, the siren not going off, no notifications that the alarm was off, or a phone call from the alarm company. I woke up with my front door open, and no siren thankfully I have dogs that woke me up barking that something was wrong in the house. There is a 60 second timer for someone to disarm the system, but then you have to wait 3-5 minutes with the siren on for liberty to be notified to call you. 3-5 minutes is an extremely long time in a emergency situation if you ask me? Not to sure why I’m paying for this, will be looking into other alarm companies due to ongoing issues. Highly DO NOT recommend.

After long time looking for a Security Company, I finally got Liberty, so many neighbours recommend me to get Liberty Security.Landon Orr was awesome, after a friend gave me her number and contact him, was so friendly very responsive and patience with all my questions ( a lot I asked) after I told what I need, He get me the lowest monthly payments possible with the lowest amount at front, for all the equipment I request, and this was for real the best price on market, I had quoted with different providers and prices were crazy with less equipment, a lot of money and front and highest monthly payments. Landon came to my house for a consultation he was so knowledgeable and easy to deal with him, after 2 days we got our system installed, our technical Kevin was so friendly, very professional and spent many hours in details to get all system running perfectly. Head office people also amazing with all the final details, best experience from beginning to end, amazing staff, perfect services and the best of all it’s a local company!-amazing rates, I got all I was looking for at the best price at the market-amazing staff and serviceLandon Orr the best representative to deal with!Thanks for all you help!

I just had my liberty security system installed and I'm very very happy with it so far. I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Jackson called me right away and started going through all my options and what would be the best to suit my needs of security in the house. He was very informative and professional answering all of my questions. All around just a very approachable friendly guy. Adrian Cotter was the installation technician and he was so amazing and again very informative answering the many questions I had. He was so knowledgeable, kind and was sincerely looking out for my best interest when it came to the placement of equipment being installed in my home. He went through everything very thoroughly before leaving, making sure that I was comfortable and able to operate the Alarm System on my own.All in all I had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend this company as well Jackson and Adrian! My husband and I had Liberty Security installed 6 weeks ago in our new home, and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for the peace of mind & security of our home. We previously had another security company a few years ago who didn’t even come close to the level of security, professionalism, quality & ease of functionality of Liberty. Additionally the customer service is fantastic, very thorough and prompt service! Thank you very much for helping us secure our home!!

I WARN YOU, DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.-- the app frequently crashes or does not connect, especially when you need it the most (i.e. when someone rings the front doorbell and you try to connect to speak to the person).-- we are planning on moving and building a home. liberty REFUSED to give us a discount and made us pay the remaining on the subscription fee. they did not even attempt to compromise with us. we initially bought out all the cameras and were willing to do the same with the new build home.INSTEAD, THEY OFFERED THE DUMBEST OFFER. they offered 1 year off the subscription fee, and stated that when we build and move into our new home, the fee will be added to the billing cycle on our new build home.

I don’t even know where to begin.But Please save yourself the time and headache. Don’t work with this company. I should have read the reviews before signing up. We got our “system” in June 2022 and since its been installed we’ve had nothing but issues with it. It never works properly. You pay 93$ for absolutely nothing every month.We were new to Calgary this year and wanted to feel a bit more safe in our new home , new city.. and these crooks sold us on junk. Great sales people…. But absolutely sold me on NOTHING. I regret going with them.. I’ve had someone come in 3 times since June (after all I asked was to have it taken out) and when I asked to get rid of it recently For the 3rd time they told me that basically I would have to buy out of my contract… amazing how they pushed for so long to come fix it and now it’s too late LOL.I’ve also had a false alarm (“broken Windows”)and when contacted they asked me if I wanted 911 dispatched I said what do the cameras show and all I got was nothing that I could go home and check myself.needless to say one of us had to drive home and check on it. Missing a half days of work. No one could actually help me with any answers.Absolutely annoyed with this company and it’s lack of proper communication. Please do better or just cancel when people ask AT THE BEGINNING.I don’t want “fixing” anymore. I want the junk out of my home

Andres and his crew at Liberty Security were fantastic. The installation went exactly as I asked. The service has been great ever since. I can't recommend them enough!
