Great evening haunt with cool passionate staff, just know that you're in for a bill. Still, it's worth the price for the luxurious deserts and creative drinks.gotta try the Paper Airplane, or the newly minted Black Forest, awesome cocktails!

Chocolate lava cake was microwaved but was still ok. Potion #3 cocktail was... ok. Staff was friendly & attentive. If there were other dessert places open late, I would have went there.

I ordered a chaceuterie board and found it really tiny for the price, and it didn't even taste good, the meats seemed stale. The pulled pork biscuits were still delicious at least. My tap water had crumbs in it and the table was visibly dirty.

I'm not sure how this location stays open. Most nights, it's almost completely empty. Also, since they opened (the service was amazing at first), it has gone severely downhill with service. 3 of us were there for well over 2 hours. An hour and 20 minutes of which was spent waiting for a drink or food. My friend ordered a Black forrest drink, and it took over 30 minutes!!! Inexcusable. It was incredibly slow service, and it was only 1/3 filled with patrons at the most.For food: don't ever order the chicootery board.. we decided to try it out as we often make them at home, and we're disappointed. The cheese was dried, the meat had dried edges, and the bread" was burnt and tasted like burnt olive oil. It was absolutely disgusting and NOT worth the $25 tag. The beef stew (which is really a soup) was delicious

Both times I've been to this location, the waitstaff was kind and prompt, and the desserts are decadent and sweet.The second time was with a larger group (6) and they easily and comfortably accommodated our party. The cocktails and inventive and well made, worth stopping in for small bites and yummy desserts.

Do not recommend, mediocre dessert and poor service. We waited 20 minutes before noticing that another couple who came in after us was already served (they ate and left by the time we were served). We had to go to the counter and ask for service. Ordered lava cake and carrot cake, but a few minutes later another server came to tell us that the carrot cake had sold out. When the chocolate lava cake arrived, it was collapsed in the centre, and much of the ice cream was already melted. I would have disregarded everything if the taste of the lava cake was good, but unfortunately, we have had better tasting cake from the frozen section of grocery stores. I felt like we wasted our time going to this place as neither the service nor dessert was adequate. We also ordered a mocktail drink, which cost $8.5, but came in a rocks glass and was too sour. I used to go to Barrington street location, but won't be going there either. It took months of convincing for my spouse to accompany me to the Middle Spoon, but we had a disappointing experience overall.

If you love sweet drinks and desserts, this is the place to go. I understand it was busy but the staff could have been a little more prepared for the tasting night. Nice place. My favourite desert was the peanut butter pie (5 stars)and would buy a whole one to bring home for the family if I could.
