TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

This bank is the best at walking away from the counter and going on break as soon as there is a line up at lunch time. ..every time

Customer service is a nightmare. Anything beyond a basic deposit or withdrawal requires an appointment. The only reason I bank here is because I am managing my parents' account. If I call in advance to find out what documents I need, when I get to the branch there's always something that they forgot to mention. A simple question that would require a two minute response on the phone has now stretched out to two weeks since the manager will not return a call. She assigned it to a junior person who claims he tried to call me (no missed calls on my phone). This is the same excuse he used in June when he didn't return my call. Bank anywhere but here.

Unbelievably poor service. My wife recently made a charitable donation, using her TD VISA Debit Card. It was a one-time payment, but she recently received a message from TD, saying that another payment was about to come out of her account. My wife contacted the charity in question and they confirmed that their records show it was a one-time payment. TD claimed that the only solution was to put a stop-payment on the charge, which would cost $25. TD's records show that it was to be a recurring charge, but it isn't. It's TD's error, but they refuse to admit to this. Twenty five dollars might not seem that much to some, but my wife is on disability pension, so it's a big amount to her. I do NOT recommend TD Bank in general and I definitely do not recommend this branch. They will take your money any way they can.

As a major financial institution, TD has left much to be desired. The bank helpfully collects funds along with your mortgage for your property tax. However when your mortgage is completed, they no longer make the property tax payment, without notice, leaving you to incur a penalty with the city, even when the money is ready in the account. And when you finally discharge the mortgage, it takes two visits to a physical branch, in person, to tell you they need to contact the head office, and that I need to get the cheque mailed to me.I'm just glad I don't have my personal account with this bank. I'd be afraid that my daily banking would be disrupted. This bridge is truly burned, and TD should be ashamed of the service they are (not) providing!

Similar to the experience of others including Sarem, AJ did not know what she was doing and she made a number of mistakes on my mortgage that I have been trying to fix with TD customer service for what seems like a year to no avail. The branch manager was incredibly rude when I tried to seek clarity on the mortgage issues. I have to say probably the worst treatment I've ever received from a business, let alone a bank that I have been with for decades. I hope the branch realizes they need to listen to the reviews on here.

They lock the ATMs up at 6pm because TD has the most convenient hours for your banking

PLEASE BE CAREFUL. They LOST all of my saving MONEY and didn't even contact me at all. I realized 2 months later. They also mistake to transfer to wrong account. I WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK HERE.TD GIVES ALWAYS TERRIBLE SERVICE.

I arrived at the branch right around closing time. There was a minute left before close. Me and another customer both ran to make it into the branch on time. Despite the fact that I was right behind him, he was let in and I was denied entry. The customer service rep just looked at me and pointed to his watch rudely, saying sorry we’re closed. Never have I been treated so rudely in my life. Is this the way TD treats it’s clients? Especially those that have been around for over 15 years? Never going to this branch again
