Awesome place just off the beaten path. Enjoyed the breakfast at the 50’s Diner with some cool antique cars in the museum. The heritage village was interesting also with great presentation from Mr Steve and the other tour guides. Glad I stumbled upon this place!

Admission price to see the old cars: 4 adults and 2 children, with taxes $33.00. Well displayed and lots of info cards. The photos you see on line of the planes are actually models strung high from the ceiling. If we wanted to see the old houses, another $28.25 with a tour.Restaurant food (serving breakfast & lunch) great, service great!!

We had our daughters wedding at the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is a real gem and one of Essex County's best kept secrets. The museum and village are an amazing setting for any event and the staff are absolutely fantastic. We had some last minute challenges of our own and they were so accommodating. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time! We got to the 50’s diner 20 min before close so I felt awful we were going to order, but the lady helping us was great! The grilled cheese and French fries were so good. Excellent portions. $23 for 2 adults and a 12 yr old to look at the cars. (Excellent price to be honest) not only were the displays great to look at, the gentleman working the victrola music boxes, let my son use it! The history was amazing to see. The train set was fun to watch with all the detail

Visited here for a flea market event. Paid admission for an event with people selling their old collectibles and MLMs. Not worth the price of admission. The museum itself is interesting. There are a few exhibits that show off some early cars and parts. I'm not sure if they removed some stuff for the flea market but it's a very short visit with little to see. Not worth the drive.I hear they're good for weddings, though.

Great experience! Take your time and really appreciate the collection they have. Some true history in Kingsville, ON. Don't forget to grab a bit at the 50's Diner while you are there!

Very cool place to visit. Along with the transportation museum they have a historical village you can visit. You must stop in at the town hall building. The gentleman that runs it has a massive collection of antique phonograph players. Lots of history.

We went here on a weekend, a 2 hour drive from our house. Our son is obsessed with cars so we figured this would fill his old car needs and it definitely did.The down side is, the Heritage Village was closed. Apparently they close it down for weddings or events, which is fine, but nothing is posted on the website, so make sure you call ahead of time. The museum isn't huge, can slowly walk through and do it in an hour. Goes in chronological order from horses all the way up to a sweet Dodge Viper near the end.Pricing is ok. There's a old school looking diner here that was closed at 2 pm. Washrooms onsite and gift shop. A few hands on things for kids.Definitely worth checking out once.3.5/5._____________________________________________Follow me for more tips, photos and reviews.

This place reminds me to black creek pioneer village in Toronto but smaller. I had fun visiting the buildings and houses with many artifacts to encourage visitors to explore the past. They care and display a historical collection of value to all, create experience of benefit to all, and tell meaningful stories for all.
