1915 Lan Zhou Ramen
We went there during weekend lunch, not a lot of people inside. We ordered Sichuan crisp pork, spicy beef tripe, and the big bowl noodle. The spicy beef tripe tasted really good, I would highly recommended it.There were different kinds of meat inside the big bowl noodle, and the huge amount of noodle was able to fit for 3 people. There were only few pieces for Sichuan crisp pork… wishing could be more for that price…

Good service and fresh made noodles. Small dishes of authentic food are tasty and fun to try.

It's decent in taste however noodles aren't chewy...way too salty, radish is cut really thick and for the price I might as well go somewhere else.Price is $13 including tax. Magic Noodle up the street is much better.

This restaurant offers a different spin on ramen noodles. I say that statement because I’m usually into Japanese Ramen or Vietnamese Pho for noodle options. I’ve had hand-pulled noodles and rice noodles in different occasions as well. But this is the first time I’ve been to 1915 Lan Zhou Ramen.I’ll start with the food. It was fantastic! I ordered the Braised Beef with the silk string noodles. My friend got the Lamb with Ribbon noodles. The noodles had a generous portion. I had to order extra soup to keep the noodles hot. Now I like the silk string but I will order the Ribbon noodles next time, that was a totally different experience. We also ordered a side of Crispy Chicken which was a good addition to put in my bowl. For the service, we arrived here late into the night for dinner. There weren’t too many people so we got seated quickly. The food also came relatively quick.Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would come back when a craving of hot noodle soup comes up. Definitely recommend to check this place out if you haven’t already. If you do, try their Ribbon noodles.

Noticed the place as I drove by and I had to try it out. Very spacious and the staff is very attentive. I got the braised beef noodle (A02).The aroma is what hits you first and gets your mouth watering. There's a distinctive starchy lingering smell of fresh pulled noodles paired with deep aroma of braised beef and spices. The texture of the noodle was on point. I love a noodle that bites back but doesn't feel like a mouth full of rubber bands, a noodle that is soft but isn't soggy and lacks any backbone. The beef was hard to critique as it was a mixture of really good and bad. The good was the several peices that were tender, has a bit of chew, and a bit of nearly rendered fat that offered a deep beefy flavour. However there were some lean peices, and surprisingly not too lean pieces, that were extremely chewy. The dish as a whole was well balanced between salty, sweet, savoury, and Umami. However the beef could be more consistent for an overall more enjoyable meal.I wish I could have given this place a 3.5 star for the whole experience.Would I recommend this place to others?I would have to try it again once more before I can confidently recommend it.

Amazing noodles, perfect and unlimited broth. Warm, clean and super comfortable interior. Note: accepts cash, debit or Mastercard credit at time of writing.Their eggplant is the most delicious and creative way eggplants have been cooked in the history of eggplants. That's not an overstatement. Glowing purple skin wrapped in a golden layer of fried breading and glazed with savoury caramelized sauce. Biting through the slight crisp of the outside gives way to the oozing decadence of the inside. A sophisticated layering of sweetness, saltiness, and umami. Must try.The beef noodle had the incredible aroma of the noodle restaurants in China. Their beef was tender and flavourful. Their crispy chicken had a amazingly soft and juicy interior with a very crispy exterior. Noodles are fresh and hand pulled. It's rare to have a dish where every bite is as enjoyable and flavourful as the first bite, but this experience certainly achieved that.

Just visited first time today. Not sure if social distancing was followed inside the restaurant as all the back-to-back booth seats were in use and there were no plexiglass dividers between them. Yikes. The noodles are really good. We had there signature beef noodle soup and a sesame sauce chicken cold noodle. Both are nicely flavoured and the noodles are chewy - freshly pulled by the chef real time in the restaurant. We also saw a few folks ordered the big bowl noodle challenge - the bowl of noodle was huge. One guy actually finished in time.Update: there were just us one table on Sunday lunch hours. Just sad ....

We visited this 1915 Lan Zhou Ramen several times and there's always plenty of room on weekends. We ordered from the assortment of hand-pulled noodle bowls, and watched as the noodle chef pounded away at the soft dough. Lanzhou-style noodles are quite popular these days. This definitely gave noodles a bouncy texture and a nice long noodle pull. Noodle strings can range from silk string to thick flat ribbons. I had the regular noodles with fried chicken and egg, for which soup was light but noodles were aplenty and chicken cutlets were satisfyingly crunchy. My wife tried noodles with braised beef brisket chunks which were more flavourful in comparison. Our recommendation is to order the Sichuan Crisp Pork. This side dish is quite addictive like eating meat skewers. We appreciated the crispy, tenderness of the meat, as well as the cumin flavour. If anything, we'll be back just to have this again with the mains. Noodles themselves are decent & similar to other Lanzhou-style noodle shops popping up in town.

One of the best tasting Lanzhou noodle place in Toronto. They have noodle, rice and dessert! The noodle has good texture, the soup base is good, and steam veggy is good. The hot sauce is good. In canada, the only shop that is better than this is in Montreal Chinatown. You could select the thickness of the noodle. Sorry, couldn't take any pictures of the food since we don't know if it is review worthy. But by the time we found out, half of the dishes are gone.
