I have visited the business several times over the past few years with the service being great, good and pure trash. I ordered online with their email from the website, no response. Went to pick up two weekender bags, was told we can't get them for you and we need a 1 week notice for the order. There are about 20 pieces of wood per bag. No I won't be going back. No I won't be sharing your companies service any longer.

Ive bought; crates of 2x4, kiln dried, cut tamarack and a crate of the boards. The split tamarack wouldnt burn, the crate of boards wouldnt burn, the kiln dried stuff burned amazing but isnt worth the price. So im stuck chopping up 2x4s to survive the winter. I really wish they would dry their stuff properly, if it wasnt for that id bump it up a star but it made for some extremely cold nights and wasted money. Never had the problem with customer service as outlined by other reviews though.

I have purchased from a gentleman before and was happy with the transaction but today I called and there must have been miscommunication. This turned into a situation where I would take my business elsewhere. The lack of professionalism eg. Sighing on the phone, isnt a great way to represent a company that talks to customers on a daily basis. I called to setup an appointment for cut and split and to come in today to buy slabs and will not do either one now because of this lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this location unless the service from this lady changes.Posted initial rate of 1 star.Update: The lady at the location called about the miscommunication and service issue and currently in my eyes made it right" for the customer. I hope the initial communication doesn't happen to anyone else. The follow up was professional and my visit was timely

Poor customer service… not friendly and felt like they had something better to do… refused to take cash and treated me like I had covid…. Wouldn’t come closed to me…. Before I told them I was paying cash they put the machine on the table and backed 8 feet away. No suggestions on what I could do to make the situation better… just started at me and said I don’t know I can’t do anything or help you…. NOT RECOMMENDED to do business with for the small customer… if there was a half star that’s what I would have given them

Terrible customer service! 've never spoken to someone who just hated the conversation , lack of help and annoyed. as we were a potential buying customer. To purchase wood for our home this winter. Never calling you folks again.

We've had good service and feel like valued customers. A couple of winters ago we bought a quarter cord of birch to just try it out, and were very satisfied. We're on our second full cord of birch, delivered to our home in Winnipeg, and are very happy with the wood and the service. There was an issue with the delivery truck on the day it was scheduled to arrive, but Amber was quick to communicate with me and they had it in my driveway, exactly as promised, the next day. Great!The wood seems to be well-seasoned, it burns well, and though I still need to split some of the larger pieces to get it burning properly in our fireplace (I don't mind this and actually enjoy the exercise), we're happy with it and will probably buy from them again. The birch smells great, lights easily, and provides excellent heat. The staff is friendly and helpful and there's a good selection of various species of hardwood to choose from. Our experiences have been very positive.

Called multiple times and no answer or return of phone calls even though we left a message and its says they are open. How are people supposed to get or order wood if you are open, you can't walk into the building you have to call, but no one answers or returns calls? That to me is the poorest service out there.

Amber loaded my 1/2 ton with birch today and I am very happy with my purchase. After unloading the wood ,there was next to no debris in my box and the wood is great!! Will go back for sure! Dennis

Very disappointed. I’m a returning customer who will not be returning any longer. I had ordered 12inch birch. I was assured many times they will cut my order to 12. I paid and they delivered a week later. Upon delivery I notice the logs are 16 inches!! What does the manager say: “yeah we made a mistake but I’m not giving you a discount or anything”Terrible customer service. I paid for a service, YOU made a mistake.

Good service and advised up the wood wasn't well seasoned. Asked for stuff not off the bottom and they obliged. Got a good load. Wood could be split better. Spent a good hour plus splitting half of it at home. Used to be split better.
