Cedar Song B&B and Cottage

Cedar Song is a gem in the woods and Anneke is a wonderful host. The rooms are cozy and comfortable with attention to every detail. As cyclists, we found many wonderful cycling routes to fill our three days. It’s a close drive to Parksville, Coombs and Qualicum Beach all of which have a variety of coffee shops stores and restaurants.The garden and back deck is a peaceful place to sip on pre breakfast coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Anneke serves the most amazing gourmet breakfasts using eggs from her own chickens and fresh herbs from the garden.We have stayed at cedar song twice now and look forward to coming back.

What a wonderful time we had at Cedar Song! We're actually local and were just looking for a quick getaway for a few nights. Despite living not far away, we truly felt like we escaped to a different world with the beautiful scenery, quiet woods, and beautiful home and rooms. And of course we were treated amazingly by the hosts Anneke & Jeff. They were so attentive to us and wowed us with their kindness and hospitality. Whether you live near or afar, this place and its hosts will refresh and bless you!

Loved our stay here this past weekend, everything was beautiful, the food was some of the best I’ve ever had!Anneke was a delightful host, very sweet and kind, very knowledgeable about things to do nearby. She made this trip go from great to something we will be coming back to do every year.Also love the friendly chickens.

Cedar Song is a wonderful B&B. The location is beautiful and peaceful in the middle of the woods. The hosts are very warm and welcoming, making sure everything is the way you'd like. The breakfast is delicious and ready for your schedule. The presentation of the food was so eloquent I had to take a photo of it, and I never take food photos. The room was comfortable and well decorated with a cozy feel. Much care has been put into this B&B, and it made our weekend that much more special. I would definitely recommend Cedar Song and go back if we're in the area again.

Cedar Song B and B, Errington, BC: On the recommendation of friends who have stayed at Cedar Song, we had a most peaceful, rich, and friendly visit over a four day stay at the B and B. The setting was quiet and natural in a rural forest in Errington (near Coombs and Parksville), replete with chickens, a garden, hummingbirds, and wild black rabbits. The B and B was immaculate and comfortably furnished, our suite was spacious, with all the amenities, and many personal touches. The breakfasts were fabulous—carefully prepared creations made with fresh eggs and ingredients from the garden. But best of all was our host, Anneke, with whom we shared good conversations, stories, and past adventures. She treated us like friends and made us feel a part of her home. We will definitely go back there again!

Beautiful setting in woods. Very peaceful. A bit off the beaten track yet near to parksville and other attractions. Jeff and aneka,our hosts, are lovely and very welcoming. The aroma for breakfast was enticing. Food great highly recommend

Anneke and Jeff are the best of the best for how to serve their people amazingly ! They go beyond our expectations to make sure that we feel taking care of. Their attitude, foods and home will make you appreciate that you are in Parksville, Canada.

Anneke had a warm and inviting presence. She was very welcoming and accommodating to my husband and I. We both felt comfortable and taken care of and the house was clean and had a vintage feel which I loved. The environment was so peaceful, we highly recommend this place!

Cedar Song is a great place to stay - a get-away in the woods but close to Parksville. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxing, and equally enjoyable in the summer (soaking up the sun on the deck last August) and in the cooler weather (cozying up to the fireplace last week). Anneke is a superb hostess - amiable, helpful and attentive. She enjoys the company of her guests. We were welcomed like friends from the moment we walked in the door. Her home is clean and comfortable. The breakfasts she prepares are delicious and plentiful.Cedar Song is a wonderful retreat.
