The equipment is top of the line and the staff are amazing. You won't find a better deal anywhere else! Prices are extremely reasonable and affordable. Cannot express enough how wonderful this place is, you will love it there. They work with all levels of experience and are always willing to support members with their projects.Note to the 2 star review: the prices listed in the review do not reflect the prices of the woodshop.

Took a workshop and built a serving board. Absolutely love the result! Staff and volunteers were helpful and answered all of my questions.

Awesome concept, and I really enjoy going there. The staff is very helpful, and there is such a variety of skills and projects on the go. Everyone is willing to help, discuss ideas, or even give you advice. The equipment is top notch, and having it at your disposal really opens up options for projects you can take on, and even the level of work you can complete. Personally I am in the middle of rebuilding a sailboat, and having this equipment at my disposal has been fantastic. My main problem now is deciding which projects to do first! If you live in the city, this place is a huge asset. Highly Recommended!

Not accessible to Low-Income People.I wanted to help a friend to build some storage units and a table to make her small apartment more efficient. I thought be great for both of us to build some pieces together. Helps her to build confidence in herself and I have woodworking experiences growing up.We went to the Woodshop and was told, we both need to get a membership. Since just needed for one month, needed to take a $50 training session. $115 plus $50 for both of use, is $330, plus wood and other materials. She is on OW and suffers from depression, my income is still entry level and have student debt, and can not afford this either.London needs another Wookshop, one which is accessible to Low-Income People.

Lack of a single day use or use-as-you-go program hampers me from even entering the door. I would be open to paying for training/orientation if that was a requirement for that. I will not pay your monthly prices as that doesn't fit my irregular usage needs. Hoping for more flexibility in the future!

I just called to enquirer about planing a live edge table that I am working on and the gentleman I spoke with was incredibly helpful. He was able to ask some important questions about what I was working with and point me in the right direction. This one 8 min phone call may have saved my whole projectas for the one 2 star review I read....I would suggest that that reviewer consider the high purchase cost of equipment and materials and compare accordingly. This community wood shop IS providing access to resources that are far too expensive for most people to otherwise access.
