Mount View Motel

The owner is exceptionally proud of this space and has spared no expense to make it nice!Hands down the best motel experience I've ever had! I've stayed at hotels that charged 200+ a night that weren't as nice as this place!Exceptionally clean spacious rooms with up to date appliances and Reno's. The bathroom has great water pressure and every inch of the place felt like it was just installed last week.Free WiFi and cable included. Apartment sized fridge and stove, microwave, full kitchenette!When we arrived even the beds had hospital corners folded! No one does that anymore!!!11/10 will visit again!!!Edit: I have returned 1 year later and once again am impressed with this place! The owner keeps adding little flourishes. There are mini Keurigs in every room with a selection of coffees and teas. The rooms are immaculately spotless and fresh... I mean, who even makes a bed with military corners anymore!!

John is amazing! There are 7 Units. Clean, newly renovated, fridge, stove, toaster, microwave. Dishes available, keurig machine for your morning coffee, and a small deck table with 2 chairs outside your room. There is enough light from the porch light to be able to read, it was raining last night as I was reading, and enjoying a local wine. I did not get wet as the overhang seemed to be the perfect size. I will absolutely be planning a vacation to stay in the area next year and will be staying here for a week. If you drive by, curb appeal may not be the best, but I guarantee you once you're checked in you will love the units.

Amazing service!!!Our TV had a picture but no sound, we asked for help and brought a second remote to try to fix it. When that didn't work, he went to another room and brought another TV. When that TV didn't work, he insisted and said he had one more room he could grab a TV from another room. It worked! Friendly, amazing service.The room is nice and quiet, and it has everything you need. Tea, coffee, Coffee mate and soap just bring your own shampoo. Easy to find.

This is the best place to stay while visiting the Okanagan. John, the Owner, provides an incredibly great room at a reasonable price. Quiet, clean, great kitchenettes and most of all - relaxing. I stay there during all my visits and I am currently booked for my next trip. I can't recommend enough. Best of all - Pet friendly.

Clean, quiet rooms. Decent location, very close to centre of town. Owner John is very friendly and outgoing. The only concern that I would have is that I saw ashtrays on some of the seating areas outside the rooms. The rooms themselves are non-smoking but a smoker outside could be a problem but we did not experience that ourselves.

Love the old feel of this place. Despite its age, this motel has been well cared for. Our room was VERY clean, carefully renovated, and price didn't break the piggy bank. An outdoor gazebo, hidden under grape vines, provides a cozy spot for guests to lounge and/or take advantage of an interesting variety of outdoor cooking appliances. The owner, was friendly, humorous and accommodating. We would stay here again without question. Thanks John !!!

Very nice motel , I thought by the price it would be your typical cheap motel , but this one was extremely clean ! My room had a kitchenette for only 79$. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised, there was a cute little table above it a funky red lamp that hung above the table. You can tell the interior was up dated , and the owners put care into it. Overall it was a great stay I'd definitely come here again if I'm in that neck of the woods !!

The owner expects guests not to sleep in more than one bed (even if there are two in the room, and does not tell the guest beforehand) because he doesn't want to clean them between stays. This hotel is not cleanly and I wouldn't stay here for fear of unwashed bedding. Even if it looks like someone has not used both beds, as a paying customer I would still want the sheets to be changed between guests as you never know. The owner will yell at customers who sleep in both beds, despite the fact that it takes only a few minutes to change bedding. Would not suggest supporting this owner or this motel.

This is my go to place to stay in Oliver. The owner is always doing something to make it great and you can tell that a lot of care is put into his business.Clean, updated and comfy - not to mention affordable!Thank you for always making me feel welcome!Connie Olson

Our experience was amazing from checking in to checking out. The owner checked us in quickly friendly gentleman. The rooms were clean and ready. I’ve stay in 4 other hotels in Oliver this was by far the place I will be staying at everytime I go to visit family.The Louie’s
