Camping Tadoussac / Tadoussac Campground

Lovely place with beautiful view over the st lawrence. Very friendly staff, even under high workload. Keep it up folks!Clean washrooms and showers, even with full load site on Canada Day. Well done!Yes, bring your best french. But is as espected, eh? We’re in Canada!Definitely would come back here.Was busy on Canada Day weekend, as expected. Camp site can feel close together, but hey, the view compensates for it. People were friendly and considerate around us. At 2300 it was really quiet.

I’m a digital nomad. My site had too many obstructions to set up the Starlink. Staff was completely disinterested in swapping sites for my short weekday visit. Tried the reported high speed Wi-Fi and it’s trash. Fades in and out and complexly unreliable.Kids. Lots of kids. There’s a large, mostly unsupervised playground right by the best views. Pull up a lounge chair to watch the sunset or sunrise and walk back to your camp with a new found appreciation for abstinence.Only a few sites actually have the good view. Most are closer to the highway and pretty tightly packed in. Many sites share a chain link fence with the commercial properties along the highway. Not very romantic or outdoorsy.

Nice campground. A bit busy! But quiet and well-kept.

We rented this cabin on a whim and have no regrets. With my good pair of binoculars we saw many, many beluga whales and other species while making s'mores or drinking morning coffee. Also some eagles and a pileated woodpecker. We could even access the wifi from inside the cabin (not included/guaranteed). Beautiful view, easily worth the price and convenience. Very clean and quiet. Bathrooms kept clean, showers were 25 cents for 4 minutes of water, wood was available to buy at reception but ours wasn't fully cured. Cabin easily fit our family of four, with two adults in one double bed, an older child in a double bed and a younger one in the futon that folded out in the living area. Could have easily fit two more children in with us. Due to covid, linens were not provided. If you are not french speaking, bring your translator to reception with you, as the folks were were talking to weren't bilingual (or they didn't bother because we are :).

They don’t care. We made a reservation 5 months in advance for the summer. When we arrived we were given a very small spot for our vehicle with little space left to sit outside. A place you would keep as a campground as the last place to give away for someone who last minute came in and who is in need of a place to stay.When I spoke with the staff about the place we were geven and that it was too small they told us that two weeks before our arrival they had a new website which made it possible to reserve a place by number (on the map of the campground). When I asked why they didn’t give us the opportunity to reserve by place I didn’t get an answer. Because the camping was fully booked they could not give us another place on the campground. Instead of understanding and some kind of excuse I ended up with a lady yelling at me in french that She did not speak english and that I should take the assigned place, otherwise I could leave the campground. They don’t understand hospitality. You pay and keep your mouth shut or you can leave. And when they make a mistake sorry seems to be a non existing word. Instead they yell at you. No service at all.They really don’t care.

Great campground overlooking Tadoussac, the St.Lawrence river and the Fjords. We could even see the whales from a distance. The campsites are a bit small but we still a great experience for our family. Nice playground for the kids as well.

We loved staying here for two nights. The sites aren't very big, but nice enough and made cozy. The playground is amazing, best one we experienced for our toddler. And the view is so stunning, we were so glad to have experienced it. Also appreciated the laundry room.

Awesome campground close to the town of Tadoussac. Nice hot showers (50 cents 4 minutes), clean bathrooms and laundromat. Really nice scenery overlooking the town of Tadoussac and many trails to see close to town. Thank you!

I like this place. One the better campgrounds we have enjoyed. Quiet, clean and well laid out for its size. All sites are individually separated by trees and there are different areas for different types of camping. Tenting, cabins, tents on platforms and of course trailer lots.

Cool campground with an amazing view of the bay at all times of the day. When we were there, it was a little hotter at the campsite on top of the cliffs than it was down in Tadoussac so dress in layers if you get cold easily.The amenities could be a little more accessible, but I'm guessing that has more to do with COVID than anything else. As far as I could tell, most sites had at least drinking water and a standard electrical outlet. I don't remember seeing anything posted about needing quarters for the showers until I was in the stall, so be sure to bring lots of quarters for the showers ($0.50 = 4 min of shower).Nice stay overall.
