Aviation Way Dog Park
On your way out of town, the last street going left before the airport. Best place for sun set seeing. It has also a long river trail that goes several km west and when the river is low, access to the river bed that looks like a giant beach. Not so much about the dog park but the area is surreal

My dogs love it here even on a bad day. As a human I think a small shelter would be nice. 7 mil. for an old strip club?...I think we can afford it

It's a great place to take your dog. Lots of dogs without decent recall go here, lots of burrs once you get to the field. Watch out for cacti off the path as well! Best to go on cold days or earlier in the day as it can get quite busy when it's nice out!

Good sized, fully fenced park with a washroom, bags and water supply. Easy to get to and close to other walking trails.Edit: lowered to 4 stars due to zero shade

Willow loves the park sh basically just sniffs the entire park makes her look a little antisocial lol but she does play and has fun with all the new friends she meets.

The park is nice. Not as large as the old park but it was nice to see dog owners that didn't just leave their dogs in the park and sit in the car. I had quit going to the old park because my dog was being attacked by intact makes constantly while their owners were in their cars. This was a pleasant experience and I will go again.

Aviation Way Dog Park
I bring my dog to the walk loop weekly! It's a great off leash walk with a beautiful loop that is about 4KM of flat path and access to the sandy beach when the river is low.The park at the beginning of aviation way is pretty sizeable, has a water source, benches, poop bags and an outhouse. Lots of parking as well.

What a great place. This off leash dog park is completely fenced, 6 feet high with double gate vestibule entrence/exit to prevent accidently escapes. Poop bags, garbage cans, water faucet, benches and even a port-a-potty for the humans. Large enough to chuck a ball for the most high energy dogs.
