We love this retreat. It has everything you need to totally rest and enjoy the beauty of the sea and natural world. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The cottages are clean and well equipped. We keep coming back time and again. It’s wonderful!!

Seaside Cottages at Ginger Hill
A New Years getaway that surpassed all our expectations. From the lovely, well equipped cottage to the spectacular beach at our doorstep, to the quaint little town of Lockeport; we enjoyed every minute of our stay! As well, Sheila and Jeff are great hosts… can’t wait to go back!

Breathtaking view, peaceful surroundings and good old fashioned hospitality! Loved the hiking trails! We got up early to catch the sunrise and had the added bonus of watching porpoises and a seal. We cannot wait to return.

The cottages really are exceptional. Their location on Crescent Beach was perfect for the seaside vacation I was craving. The cottages are super clean and well appointed. Hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

I am always pleased staying at these cottages. Weather couldn't have been better. Had a chance to meet the new owners Sheila and Jeff. They were amazing and friendly. Definitely looking forward to coming back next year! Highly recommend these cottages.So relaxing.

Seaside Cottages at Ginger Hill
Our Seaside Cottage was a vacation dream come true. Located on the smaller of the two beaches at Ginger Hill, the cabin was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable. Each cabin is provided with a handy, helpful brochure outlining restaurants and beaches in the area. Our cabin was located on the smaller beach and the view was stunning. We wanted a tranquil, relaxing and serene place and we certainly got that in this little corner of Eden. We have already booked for next year!

Seaside Cottages at Ginger Hill
Excellent mini vacation by the ocean..a great stay!! Comfy bed and everything you need for your stay is provided. Cannot complain about anything and only comment I would make was the windows could have been cleaned prior to our arrival but were not super dirty just you want a crystal clear view of the beach and ocean when you are that close to it. Also the smell of incoming tides was not too nice at times but nothing that can be controlled by anyone but Mother Nature. This did not affect our stay in any way.

We had an amazing stay at the Seaside Cottages for part of our honeymoon! Such a beautiful spot with excellent hosts. The cottage was very clean and had an incredible ocean view. It was hard to believe we were still in Canada, it looked like a tropical beach. Will definitely visit again!

Seaside Cottages at Ginger Hill
This was our first stay at Seaside Cottages and will not be our last. Nice and clean, comfortable beds, right on the beach, big comfy rockers on the decks. What more could you want for relaxation. A very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend these cottages.

Seaside Cottages at Ginger Hill
It is the most wonderful place. The cottage is on one of the best beaches in Nova Scotia. And the cottage is fully equipped. All you need is food. The hosts even brought us wood for a fire on the beach.
