Vermilion Provincial Park
Nice place....campgrounds are neat and tidy. The water park for the kids is awesome...lots of play grounds and multiple group sites for family bun struggles. The water isnt the nicest but, good for paddling around on.

We love this campground. It’s quiet, clean, has showers and flush toilets and is so accessible to the cute little town of Vermillion. There are nice cycling and walking paths and it’s close to the river if you want to walk down and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Loved the spray park and playgrounds. Big sites but not all are private. Mini golf and trails enjoyed by everyone. There are lots of gophers so make sure you put away your garbage. We were in site D44 right on the corner by the showers not private but huge. Biggest problem was people kept walking right through our site like in between our car and tent trailer. It was super annoying so I will book a different site next time.

Vermilion Provincial Park
The campsites were very spacious and nice, although not a lot of privacy, you can see what others are doing even when trying not to. There is no beach for kids to play in, not sure if it’s because of water quality, but still a small beach with sand would have been so fun for kids. They only have a boat dumping space by the river. They do have kids parks, mini golf and spray park, which are closed due to COVID. But I bet when they’re open, kids would be happy. The trails are nice, the campground is very close to the town so you don’t feel you’re camping in the wild, which I personally prefer. They charge extra to use the dumping station, which I think it’s ridiculous, we’ve never had to pay extra at other parks. I mean for $38 a night, why should you pay extra for dumping? Anyways nice park but nothing out of the ordinary and would not visit again to be honest.

We had visited the park Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the soccer tournament. But we couldn’t due to the loud music being played in the campground. We asked politely to lower the music sound but that lasted five minutes. We talked to administration and they advised us they will do their best but that lasted another five minutes. We also found out these particular patrons had run over another patrons dog and blamed the dog owner. I love multiculturalism but I hate ignorant people.

We were not sure what to expect, but this place is a real gem. Nice sites, friendly staff, good amenities like showers, nice bathrooms and lots to do. We played mini golf, played at the park, there is a great spray park, lots of fields to run around in and trails to walk on. The kids dipped their toes in Vermilion lake too. We'll be back!

This place is really good just for camping using tents or RV's. Big space and kids will love the play ground and the water park. But if you want water to boat, swim or fishing. You will be disapointed. Not much here. This place is good for group camping and if you just want to go out and feel the nature. This is a quite place.

Vermilion Provincial Park
Very nice park. Most sites are well spaced and level. Lots of hiking trails to keep yourself and pets entertained. Due to the proximity to Vermillion, you will meet plenty of locals on the trails. There is also entertainment for kids (mini golf, disk golf, playgrounds, spray park). Probably too busy for my liking in the summer. Bundle of firewood seems a little pricy at $12.

Great family camping. Lots of things for kids to do- splash park, mini golf, Frisbee golf, big green spaces, trails, trout pond (never any luck catching fish) playgrounds, concession. Friendly staff. Shower house was dirty (lots of dead bugs on counters) and needing a lot of repairs/upgrades. If the campground itself wasn't so great, the review rating would be one star based on the condition /cleanliness of the shower house.
