delicious, delicious, delicious, delicious, delicious!We got em tacos! Oh boy! It was delicious. I definitely recommend this place, it’s even good to take your dates there! It’s a cool ambiance with cool vintage posters hanging on the wall. Probably need a reservation, it’s packed. When we visited, it was early in the evening but still was busy.

BEST TACOS IN TORONTO!! Love this place and can't wait to return. Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't busy at all. I can imagine how different the vibe would be at night with the bar and all the signs lighting up. The ambience is really cool. The nachos were sooo delicious, made with homemade tortilla chips and loaded with chorizo and toppings. The corn was good but I probably wouldn't order it again. I tried the shrimp, octopus and fish tacos. Shrimp was the TASTIEST, soo good especially with the crunchy taco shell. The octopus was good too and so was the deep fried fish. The sauces were all amazing, especially the hot sauce! The churros were good with caramel sauce, and the tres leches cake too. Our server was fantastic, super friendly and attentive. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

This is a pretty pictoresque, clean and well decorated place. It's also extremely noisy - I had to constantly yell to talk with the person sitting right next to me. The service isn't really good, we had a huge challenge trying to call waiters to place our orders. We arrived at 1pm and they took a whole hour to bring the dishes after the order was placed. At the end we even asked for the bill before finishing our dishes since we didn't know how long it would take for us to see someone again.Overall I had a really not satisfying experience at this restaurant. And yet I'm still giving it a five star rating simply because this was definitely the best, most delicious Mexican food I had in a really long time.Their dishes have lots of ingredients and you are not allowed to make substitutions, but you can still omit some things if you prefer. I ordered the Playa Burrito" with their "Beef short-rib"

I come here all the time and unfortunately will not be returning, I ordered a burrito it tasted very bad and soggy. I usually get the tacos with the same chicken but when I brought it up to the servers attention he said “that’s how it’s always made”. I don’t know if he was a new guy but I get the exact same pulled chicken in my tacos. He didn’t bother apologizing or compensation or anything, which is fine but did not even replace it instead, took it off the table and walked away. No apologies no professionalism and lots of attitude Very disappointing I don’t know what was his problem. If you have a regular complaining about an issue with the food, who always leaves good tips for your place have the decency to at least listen.

Edit- This place has become a regular spot if I have to take vegetarians. And they all love this spotIn one of the most hipster place in Toronto, this is easily the most hispter joint. Even during lockdown with seating on the footpath, the place had great vibes. They do provide patio heaters so it is manageable on a normal winter evening.The vibes are great and they always have great service. Try any of the dishes and you will never be disappointed.

Guacamole is good and so are the nachos but I found the nachos a bit salty. Not a fan of the salty cheese they use. Great portions. The Asado is very tender and tasty. The fish tacos are just way too big of a fish piece and the batter just isn’t great. I would suggest 3 thinner longer pieces than one fat piece. Batters are normally light coloured this was dark it seemed over cooked on the outside. I’ve Had better. The chicken tacos were over spiced that we couldn’t taste the chicken.

Fantastic Mexican resto nestled in between other eateries. Do not miss this place, superb vibe, awesome drinks and authentic Mexican fare. Wait/bar staff on point as are the chef's. The octopus taco is hands down the best I ever had. Order this dish and be completely amazed. I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant. This place is not cramped, so gives an open feeling atmosphere.

Cocktails are severely overpriced for the amount you get but the food is incredible.The guacamole was great and carnitas tacos were the best!Had to ask for menus after waiting for twenty minutes to be acknowledged but it was smooth from there.
