Horrible communication, staff will lie instead of admitting they don't know the answer. Since our wedding in June my wife has worn her wedding ring for no more than 3 weeks due to it being stuck in constant state of being sent in for repair.

My boyfriend bought me a ring as an anniversary present. I took it in to get sized by them and was told it could take up to 4 weeks. 3 months later I still had no update on my ring until I finally went there in person and found out it had been sitting there for weeks and no one had called me to say it’s ready. A week later I was wearing it and the centre diamond had fallen out! Luckily we were able to find it on the floor, but now I will have to go back to have it fixed again..hesitant to do this. Won’t be shopping here in the future

Too bad you can't give 0 stars... I sent my hopefully soon to be fiance's ring out for resizing. Been waiting over 2 months for it to come back now. The store can't give me any information either after repeated inquiries. Very disheartening to say the least.

We were at Michael Hill last evening to purchase a chain and a bangle. This is our second visit this month and must say that every single visit to MH has simply exceeded our expectations.This time around, the consultant was Sara and she was extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful. She was extremely patient with us as we went through quite a lot of designs before zeroing in on one. She in fact participated in the whole selection process and gave honest opinions on what she thought would suit my partner and this is something I really loved about the whole purchase process. Sara is a true example of how a jewellery consultant ought to be.MH have quite a good selection of designs and the customer service is top notch. :)

We were served by a very hesitant sales consultant. We asked about silver earrings for our granddaughter. At first she wasn’t even going to let us in when we mentioned our granddaughter has a sensitivity to metal as she couldn’t guarantee the earrings.She gave us terrible service once we were finally allowed in the store. What a horrible experience for shopping for a first set of earrings that we were excited to purchase. We finally purchased a pair and went to “Peoples”where the service was friendly and wonderful.We were also looking for a pair for an adult but decided to leave with out purchasing anything else.

**Update: 6+ months later and still no ring**Do not shop here. If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. We dropped my engagement ring off for sizing January 6th and we were told it would be back in 2-3 weeks. We were told January 22nd that the ring could be sized and shipping back and it takes approximately 4 days, and that was only after us calling for an update. Since then, they have been unable to track the shipment or provide any updates other than it’s ‘a shipping delay’. 10 weeks later and no end in sight as to when I will (if ever) see my engagement ring again. It is appearing as if they have lost it. I would never purchase from them again and am sad I even trusted the ‘lifetime warranty’ to get it sized.

Every time I hear about this specific location is it always a horrible experience for my friends/family. I have also had a bad experience as well. Me and my partner were looking for engagement rings, and the salespeople were extremely rude and it made me instantly uncomfortable. Looking for an engagement ring is supposed to be a fun and exciting experience, and this place left a negative twist. I immediately left the store feeling unwelcome and with the final thought of never coming back.This seems to be running theme with this specific location, and I think this is an opportunity for retraining for staff/management. Its unfortunate this is the case, but if you want people to come back maybe you should have better customer service. In my honest opinion if you are considering shopping at this location keep in mind that they are very rude and I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.

Rose was absolutely phenomenal! She made me feel so comfortable and sent me on my way with the chain I’ve been saving up for . I’ve went to multiple jewelry shops , but you’ve made Michael hill the one for me ! Thanks again

Terrible experience time and time again. I have spent more time with my wedding ring sent off to be fixed than I have had it on my finger since I got married in June. The stones fall out (despite being inspected" by the warehouse)
