The dumplings are good but guys come on.... 13$ for this quantity of noodle (see pic) he didnt even filled half of the aluminium plate. Thats why im giving 2 stars instead of 5. This gives me the impression that i've been stolen or the cook guy didn't calculated the necessary quantity of noodle to cook and just went ahead and served this...

Restaurant Étoile Rouge
Stopped here on the way to Jean Tallon Market. Ordered the shrimp dumplings and the pork and bok choy dumplings. Both were delicious. The restaurant had a warm atmosphere. We sat next to the window facing the street. Etolie Rouge is our new go-to place for dumplings.

The dumplings are simply amazing...and I'm usually not a great fan. The noodles with chicken and vegetables are very tasty (the noodles are handmade); even though the general Tao was a bit different from other places cause there was not much sauce, we enjoyed it. The staff is nice and friendly.We took the food to go and it was served with the same care as in the restaurants

I only had the miso soup and Chun Juan (spring rolls), but they were delicious and the whole menu was very affordable! I will definitely be going back!

Excellent dumplings but they were out of severally vegetarian options and shrimps. Service is SO SLOW. Every restaurants in the area was packed, except this one. I wonder why.

Despite some of the les than stellar reviews I gave this place a go and I’m glad I did. Sure, the dumplings are a bit light in terms of filling, however, the taste and texture are spot on as is the kinda-sorta-almost-not really spicy dipping sauce. I would repeat a visit and opt for a sit down, as opposed to take away.

Restaurant Étoile Rouge
A few days ago, I discovered this place and ever since I am completely fixated on their delicious dumplings. It is savoury and juicy and the sauce perfectly compliments the flavours. I’ve tried their Pork & coriander and chicken & coriander fried dumplings. The staff is very kind and the place is lovely. Would definitely recommend trying it out. :)

Ordered dumplings a day ahead on DoorDash for a company event, dasher told me the restaurant forgot about the order completely when he got there for pickup, and they only prepared 1/3 of the order and we were still charged the full amount… our money gone just like that
