Did a day trip to the park. Lovely playground with lots of parking. Easy walk to the falls with the kids. We did a small lunch out there, lots of room and picnic table. It was a wonderful experience. We are not planning a camping trip this fall there.

Beautiful well kept park near the Shushwap Lake. Huge shade trees and well maintained lawns with picnic tables and outdoor washrooms. Playground for kids. A great family place and nice campgrounds. A lovely place to picnic and gather for relaxing time with friends and family. Is close to Margaret Falls that has lovely hiking paths and beautiful rock formations. I highly recommend this place.

What a great park, so beautiful. The river flows through it from Margaret Falls (across the highway). I'm not sure why the washrooms were closed. The lake is crystal clear. The perfect place to spend time camping.

There is amazing playground with incredible view. A big parking lot near here, washrooms and many picnic tables!Another parking lot is close to waterfall.Road to the waterfall mixed with bridges and looks like a part of mystery forest.Highly recommended this place! We visited it in the March of 2023 and there were only a couple more families and that it.

Beautiful walk (easy path) to view the waterfall. Can be busy on weekends but nice and quiet mid week. The park and campground are very well maintained. The beach is lovely as well. There was also rentals available for paddleboards, kayaks, etc. And lots of picnic tables. A great stop for the whole family.

Herald Provincial Park
Herald was a lovely provincial park. Well maintained with lots of trees. Like all provincial parks it was very busy, but still quiet at night. The playground is large and the kids enjoyed playing there. Really nice grassy picnic area and typically what I believe would be a beach, but the water was very high when we visited. Beautiful short hike to see the waterfall. They even sell ice cream. Great place to take the family camping, LOTS of kids!!

Very nice. Well treed and clean. Peaceful an very quiet. You have more places to walk and scenery to see. We would definitely stay here again. Obviously very sought after as booked solid bd could only stay one night because of its popularity.

Herald Provincial Park
A wonderful campground. The campsite are clean with fire pit. Very clean in general with lots of walking trails around. Showers are very clean. Washrooms have waters. There is a magnificent waterfall which is only 10min walk from the campground. The only issue was that the campground was very busy with lots of families and it was very loud at night with some people playing music and talking up to midnight. Also we bought fire wood and it was 12$ for only a few logs which I think it was very overpriced. Other than that everything was perfect.

Nice and lively campground if a bit pricey. The site we got wasn't particularly nice compared to other campground we stayed. Lot's of people there even on weekdays. Very cool and large playground. The Margaret falls interpretive trail was a nice stroll. Clean pit toilets and warm showers.

We discovered Herald Park last year and love it!!!!! Super family friendly with a great playground. Our 2.5 year old loved it. Bathrooms are clean and beach is great with shaded areas. Only downside is people think they can claim beach spots the night before and not bother coming back until the afternoon. Feel free to move these people. It's a provincial park guys. Not gonna fly
