Enterprise Rent-A-Car

My local office was decent and Emarrie was very good and went above and beyond (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). As far as the rest goes it was not a great experience. Halfway to my destination I realized that the car was starting to smell like smoke. They do a cleaning treatment on it so I didn’t smell it when I was checking the car out. I had another 3 hour drive and my kids were in the car. I wasn’t about to drive the rest of the way so I started calling. I called 5 local offices around my location to see if I could swap cars. They had no stock and none of the managers were helpful at all. Finally I got redirected to the 800 number and they sent me to the closest international airport. Well airports have a “different system” and they were not able to switch out a car for “bad smell.” Finally I got ahold of Emarrie at my local office and she was able to call someone and the airport finally got us a new car. Lessoned learned. If the car smells like heavy cleaners when you pick it up….DO NOT TAKE IT.

Car drove good could have been cleaned and there was brake noise. All else went great they even ask if I wanted anything in return for the noise.

We have used in Enterprise in the past. However, we will never use it again. We had a SUV reserved 4 months prior to our trip. We needed a six passenger vehicle for a trip with six adults and luggage. I purposely reserve this vehicle in advance so we would have what we needed. On the day we were supposed to pick the vehicle up they contacted us at 11 AM and said the vehicle that we were supposed to have was not returned yet. I had told them to let us know when it was returned. so we could pick it up. I did not receive a phone call back so at 2:30 I called and they indicated they still did not have a vehicle for us. Therefore I then asked for a manager who indicated that they were trying to find a car for us that would fit our needs. However, they could not find one and even told us we could reach out to the airport which was an hour away from our location to see if they had one. I do not feel like it was our job to look for a vehicle. We reserved 4 months prior to our trip. The business in our area closed at 5:30 and they said they would call us when they receive something. We never got a callback. This really put us in a bad position. We ended up having to take two vehicles which was not our plan. And cost us a lot more money. I am very very disappointed in enterprise or not accommodating us. Nadine

The Holland office I give five stars for everything. However all of the other branches in West Michigan I would have to give two stars they're never able to fulfill our rental requests because they never have vehicles available. Their corporate office I give one star because they will set up a rental agreement and send you to a location only for you to get to that location and they don't have anything available.Have been renting from them ALOT for Thales last few months. We spend a hellacious amount of money on a vehicle every time. I believe we should receive a discount out or be offered a membership. In 3 months we've spent near 4grand.Aside from that their holland office ALWAYS has vehicles available and a very welcoming staff. . Howeve, whenever u call you get directed to their main corporate hotline. And even when the locations do not have vehicles available they will still set you up to go pick up a vehicle only for you to get to that location and they're not be one there for you. So if you're looking for a vehicle and you call and they sent you up to pick up a vehicle make sure you call that location before driving all the way there for nothing. The Holland location is the only one that has been able to follow throughand fullfill with our rental requests.

I would rate higher but I was charged adadditional days. I picked up my vehicle at the repair shop caliber collision on 05/19/23 and I called enterprise rental that same day to let them know i was picking up my vehicle so I wouldn't be charged additional days and I was told since they worked with caliber that I could leave ot there. Well caliber collision dropped the vehicle at your facility and put down that I returned it on Monday so I was charged for the extra days other than that everything was well with the rental car

On a regular basis, I rent cars all over and the service I receive from this location has certainly been the best. Even in the past I had good experiences. My most recent experience I had a lady named Myiah take care of me. She was absolutely awesome and a breath of fresh air! Enterprise is lucky to have her as their employee. She is friendly, professional, and even the perfect touch of personable. The process for pick up and return was simple and quick. The car was clean and great condition. I'll definitely be a returning customer the next time I'm in the area. Thank you, Myiah!

Great and fast experience as always. I enjoy working with team from the Holland, MI branch as they always work to satisfy my request. Office is a little dated, and cars are a little more warn, but service is top notch!

I’ve been to many enterprises but the customer service I received from this one took the cake!Kathy was incredibly friendly, and very professional. After taking my information and everything she walked out to the car with me to do an inspection and look around. I’ve never actually had anyone physically walk out to the car with me, which was really top-notch service.She asked me what I was using the car for (I was moving things from my old apartment) and suggested taking another vehicle that was larger than the one I had originally booked. I’m glad that she did, because I wouldn’t have fit as much stuff in as I did in the vehicle I ended up taking.The car was very clean and taken care of. There were no mechanical issues or anything wrong with the vehicle.All-in-all, amazing experience and I will definitely be returning to this location in the event I need another rental!

Kathy was great and so was the other gentlemen forgot his name but overall great experience,good things are hard to find these days and being short staffed on june 29 Kathy was straight professional in every aspect .

Rented a Nice Ram pickup truck that was covered in mud/dead bugs!Very disappointed in the service to start with, but by the end of the 1-hour ordeal the manager made it right and personally cleaned the dirty rental they tried to give us. We'll probably give them another chance, since she went out of her way to fix the issues we had.Because of the trouble we did receive fuel savings.
