Was impossible to call them before. Now they switched to work online only. NIGHTMARE AND WASTED TAXPAYERS MONEY. What’s the point of paying the rent for empty office spaces in the building?

tax payers money going to complete waste because of this failed department, the staff are immensely rude and not professional at all.

The current state of the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) is a cause for concern, especially considering the significant amount of tax landlords are required to pay. It seems that the funds collected are not effectively invested in improving the LTB system. In my experience, the LTB appears to be biased towards landlords when they are at fault and favors tenants when they are at fault. I rented an apartment eight months ago, but since moving in, there have been unresolved issues with the apartment's maintenance, as well as constant noise disturbances from the upstairs unit, resulting in sleepless nights for the past eight months. In February 2022, I filed a complaint with the LTB against the landlord, but to date, no hearing has been scheduled. Despite consistently paying rent on time for eight months, the resident manager insists that I must live in the apartment for a full 12 months before being able to move out, disregarding the fact that we have been disturbed every night. It is disheartening that my case, filed against my landlord with the LTB, has been pending for 15 months without any communication or progress. The lack of response and resolution from the LTB undermines its purpose and leaves tenants like myself feeling frustrated and without proper recourse.

The place is not operating. Don't waste your time going there. Nobody answers the phone either.IF YOU ARE BACKED UP AND CAN'T HANDLE THE VOLUME, CHANGE THE UNJUST LAWS AND HIRE MORE PEOPLE!I cannot believe how this country treats landlords. It's despicable. A tenant can legally rob you of thousands of dollars and nobody cares. It's insane.

Paid 200 dollars for an application, it never got time to be heard during the originally scheduled meeting so it was supposed to get rescheduled. Two years later and never heard anything from them, attempts to follow up via phone call or email are ignored. The tenant costed us thousands of dollars in renovations, did not pay rent, and there are no consequences for him. Funnily, the tenant filed an application which did get heard, and that adjudicator ordered us to pay him money despite him not having any documentation to backup his claims. We did not pay him. She had no empathy for a recent widow who the tenant was trying to scam, lacked professionalism and was clear she did not read the extensive documents we submitted as proof prior to the session.

Call anytime of the day there is wait times of over 2 hours, take a day off from your life to call them. When they pick up someone will answer who can't speak English properly and will get mad at you if you ask them to repeat. I wonder what is government doing with my tax money

One of the worst managed and executed organization and waste of public money. They have worst satisfaction index , worst google reviews and worst staff amongst entire gov funded organizations. As the they, Justice delayed is Justice denied. They are epitome of justice denied. should scrap it completely and create another body with some spine and time lines attached to it

Very very rude, was interrupted many times nd then shut down and hung up on. I was very polite the whole conversation snd received nothing but attitude.

How can you guys have a busy line and when people call the line is always busy you all need to be fired like take off you all hopeless number off the sites because when people call they can never get to you guys what kind of service is that.

Something needs to change at the LTB! Issues are not getting resolved in timely manner, putting landlords under financial distress. Tenants are threatening to not leave the property even after it has been sold, and extorting money from small landlords like myself. This is all a result of how slow the LTB moves! Even after providing all the evidence to the board, and requesting an expedited hearing, I have not heard back and my closing date is coming. There is no sense of urgency in cases like these. These should be expedited! This is absolutely ridiculous!
