Very sadly disappointed.Moved to Cobourg and wanted to start off on the right foot and bought $250 gift certificates for some downtown businesses.Fast forward a few years, my family now finds itself in an extremely tough place with a sick little 5 y/o who has been in and out of sick kids for the past 3.5 years, and who desperately needs her first haircut ever. I reached out to Moxy explaining our situation and asking if we could come in at a quiet time and check if they would wear a mask. They sounded shocked that I would put them on the spot like that, left me hanging on hold, and then said they would call me back. A few days later I received a phone call saying they can not accommodate my little girl and that is that.We are still trying to sell this $250 gift certificate for way less than cost without any luck. Maybe others in Cobourg know what we now know. We have decided to donate it to the needy.I called another salon with the same request and that very day they helped get my little girl safely cleaned up and looking beautiful.

Being new to the area I researched carefully for a new stylist ... Moxy's Salon & Spa reflected a 5 star customer rating, the stylist bio listed 18+ years experience including some years in Toronto ... I was optimistic ... I couldn't have been more wrong ... she didn't have a clue ... my hair was destroyed, roughly cropped so short I can't get it fixed elsewhere for some time ... this after a 3 month wait during COVID for a fresh cut. I'm beyond disappointed. The salon itself was clean, and the Customer Service Rep was very pleasant.

Such a great experience at Moxy Salon! Asia did my hair for my wedding. It turned out exactly as I hoped and was so beautiful! It looked great and lasted all day, well into the night. I would highly recommend!

I finally found a suitable hairstylist for my short haircut.I have straight hair and it is not easy nor hard to cut nor style.I have struggled and have went home crying after a horrible haircut from various stylists from Peterborough.Allyson is professional, attentive and super talented with her skills.I have been coming to her for 6 cuts now and very happy with every cuts she has given me.

Definitely recommend! She took me last minute for my hair! I had an event and i screwed my hairstyle and she fixed it although fully booked!
