Stony Rapids Water front Lodge

This Lodge is absolutely beautiful, you can enjoy the most beautiful water front views and amazing sunsets, service is excelent, rooms were impeccable and I loved that they have their own dock where you can go fishing !

I was invited to Stony Rapids to teach a Remote First Aid course and was so very pleased to find myself staying at the Waterfront Lodge for my week. A lovely lodge with shared communal space and private rooms. My room had a Queen bed, a private bathroom, and a small desk/TV. But the communal space was a large open concept space with the ability to host groups as well (which we will use for the indoor portions of our class). The main floor offers a serene place to unwind at the end of the day. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and the space is easy to enjoy as the sun sets. The rooms were clean, cozy and a nice place for privacy. Being able to sit downstairs, facing the setting sun, and work quietly in this space in the evenings feels like home. I highly recommend this Lodge for a small work retreat or place to stay while in Stony!

There stones layed haphazardly around every single room in the building, really weird especially if you don't like riddles, loads of them, they're living rocks that speak in tongues alone. Overall though it was an enjoyable experience, especially when the Dastardly Magician Adrian Sunthonus blessed us with his performance. 5/5 dont bring the weens

We took a road trip up to Stony Rapids to experience northern Saskatchewan. We initially booked 2 nights at Waterfront Lodge. The owner Ed was very helpful and accommodating in our booking. But we were extremely happy when we could extend our stay 1 night more! The lakes and forest are truly beautiful, and the people are super friendly. But that we could stay at Waterfront to experience Stony Rapids was the icing on the cake.The lodge has about 6 rooms upstairs,with ensuite washrooms. The main floor , with huge windows facing a gorgeous view of Fond du Lac River, has a spacious and well furnished common space, with multiple dining tables and chairs and couches. The kitchen is well stocked. Keep in mind that the lodge is set up for sharing this space with any other guests. We were so blessed to have the entire place to ourselves! We simply can't say enough of our incredible stay, and a bonus was to meet owners Ed & Maryanna. We now are thinking we need to make this trip again!! Thank you, Waterfront Lodge!
