American Waterworks

We utilized them roughly 4 months ago for foundation repair. Overall the process was smooth, easy, understandable and the crew was professional and friendly. We are happy with the results. The foundation is not sinking. We will reach out to a company in a year to check on it again. The financing was easy too. Overall, good experience, and was more affordable than some other contractors.

We had American Waterworks do some work this past month on our basement! Concrete removal & replacement, anchoring a wall, installing wall anchors , installing irrigation system, a sump pump, a dehumidifier & radon mitigation. From start to finish they were nothing but professional…sales, the crews that came in to do the work, the head of the Fargo office, the billing company in Rochester. They were on time, always answered communication promptly and professional. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to you for your repairs/maintenance!

Just got 8 helical piers installed in my basement. Highly recommend American Waterworks! Definitely add them to who you get bids from. Their prices were right in the middle compared to the other bids I got. I was expecting the project to be extremely messy, with sediment to be everywhere in my house due to them breaking up concrete and digging dirt. I was so wrong! They wrapped up my appliances in plastic, as well as put plastic up to protect areas. All dirt and concrete was cleaned up. All I had to do is mop! I was also very impressed with the foreman and crew. When they got onsite, the foreman walked the plans with me and discussed ways they could minimize impact to my home (i.e. taking down walls, breaking up floor tile, etc.). The only info I wish I had known ahead of time was how loud it would be outside my home due to the machinery they connect to, so I could give a heads up to my neighbors. Super minimal all things considered.

I had other estimates to have my driveway fixed. One was even a little cheaper. Kyle was vary detailed though. He took the time to actually check each slab with levels so there was no guessing on how to do the work. I was impressed. That's why I choose American Waterworks.If the crew that does the work is as detailed as Kyle I'm confident the job will be perfect.Chris.

I had American Waterworks come out to quote a fairly small job at my house lifting one side of a smaller concrete walkway slab. The gentleman that came out was very thorough and took the time to explain the process to me. I was told that for polyfoam concrete lifting they have minimums due to the amount of foam they need to buy, and that they could do just the one slab for $1,000 or do the slab plus half of my whole driveway for the same price. Not a viable solution if you just have one small slab needing lifting unfortunately. They seem like a great company otherwise and I wish that we could have found middle ground!

A.W. waited over 4 months to get the final inspection done from the city. It was only after the city informed A.W. that the permit was not closed out that they finally informed me of the situation. Also I had basement to beautiful panels installed in what was a previously finished basement. Beware of these wall systems being incorporated into existing plumbing and electrical, many issues after the fact were left to me (the homeowner) to resolve.

Very happy with my experience with American Waterworks. They installed a gutter around part of my basement, along with a sump pump. Everyone I worked with had great communication and the work was completed very quickly. There were a couple of little hiccups, but everything was handled professionally and satisfactorily. Best part is that they were happy to do just the project I requested without forcing me into work I didn't need to have done. Very pleased I went with them!

Radon mitigation. Installed within 3 hours. System was explained in detail. Work site was left in pristine condition. Extremely pleased with American Waterworks from Mike, design specialist, to phone and text communications, to Dakota and his partner for the installation.

Radon mitigation system installed. The crew did a great job installing the system. The jury is still out on how well it works. Just sent in new tests for evaluation. Hopefully the system works as well and lasts as long as promised.

Jack, the technician, did an excellent job of testing each of our systems. He made sure they were all cleaned and maintained for another year. Each time a system was evaluated Jack showed me the results. When results for the sump pump battery came up weak he explained how the system wouldn't be working up to par and would fall short of it's functioning power. I appreciated this info and the battery was replaced. Keep up the excellent work Jack! I'm always pleased and reassured my basement will continue to be dry because of the outstanding work and maintenance done by American Waterworks. Thank you !
