We love this beach. We tend to go more in the off season when less families are at their trailers. This beach is always well maintained, clean, and free from garbage. The entry to the water is nice and shallow for a bit so the kids can play and wade in the shallows. People are always friendly and welcoming here!

Simple beach and a nearby playground where those attending are friendly and doing a great job at Social Distancing.Lovely place, the sand seems manicured, just need one eye out for bird droppings.(June 2022) Lovely beach on a sunny afternoon. No seagull or other bird mess anywhere which made it lovely for everyone on the beach!!People in a friendly mood and made for a great afternoon!(June 2023) Best beach around ... pleasant and easy environment to keep an eye on the kids.

Pretty good and clean beach in Lakefield. No dogs are allowed in the water on the beach but we were able to bring the dog into the water by the grassy area, and nobody seemed to mind, as others were doing the same.Parking is very limited, but there are garbage, washrooms and drinking fountains on site.Be sure to go early to save a parking spot, and an area on the beach.Very family friendly beach.

Beautiful sandy beach. Quite large. Washrooms nearby. It was worth the 2hr drive.

Great sandy beach, washrooms nearby (which were pretty clean and decent), nice playground with swings and a play structure. The water is nice to swim in. The beach is not monitored by a lifeguard and it isn't roped off. There was lots of parking when we went on a Monday, but it can be busier on the weekend when you may have to settle for street parking nearby.

Great beach. The sand is so soft and clean. The water is so clear that you can see fish swimming around you!Beautiful surroundings with the marina just behind.Washrooms are available on site.My kids had so much fun playing in the water and floating around in their floaties. There is a little camping/RV park attached. My advice would be to go as early as you can because the beach can get pretty busy by 11am.

Great beach. Clean. Well groomed sand. Very few stones in the water made for fun swimming and boat launch. Convenient washrooms and cold snacks bar. We will be back with the kids again for sure.

Loved the fact that the sand is well groomed and the water was beautiful. We had good parking and the beach was close so we didn't have a long way to walk. The clean bathrooms were great for kids and the rest of the family too.

A great place for Torontoians to drive to and relax . Certainly there could be more sheltered benches as on a extremely hot day , there were only 2 picnic tables under the shelter . One bench close to where one could fish was apparently being used by 'who ever fish ' to relief themselves . Sit there , bad odor !! Perhaps authorities need to watch for offenders
