This is one of my favorite coffee places in Winnipeg. I can be picky about my coffee, and this place has the best coffee. They never have the burnt taste here. I’ve tried their coffee, tea, and smoothies as well as their breakfast sandwich and it is always good. I’ve also never had an issue with street parking during the day. I’ve come in and spent 1-3 hours working on schoolwork and it is always pleasant. They have varying sizes of cups for dine in, which I was surprised, other places will only have one size for dine in but multiple take out options but they have both. They also have a punch card

The coffee that was made for me was amazing. I had a soy latte. The atmosphere is very relaxing and modern. There was a chest full of toys for a child to play too so very child friendly. Lastly, they have stamp cards to get free coffee after a certain amount of stamps I usually like these. Overall I would definitely go back!

I've never been here before, but I really liked it. Very low key vibe and lots of comfy chairs where you can relax for a bit. Even has a game corner, which I thought was great.

Went there Feb 26 2023, 2 staff working but they were terrible. Tables were not cleared off, I was there for 1 hr and the 2 tables beside me had dirty dishes on them the entire time . It was not busy so staff had opportunity to clear tables. The washrooms where not very clean and the door did not lock properly. The drinks are alright, it's coffee.

My husband Pat is running the Actif Epica 50k run tomorrow so he needed to go and pick up supplies for the race at Joe Black Coffee & Bar. My husband got a free coffee because he is running and I wanted to try the coffee as well. The coffee was great and the atmosphere very pleasant!Camilla Wohlgemuth

I’m not a huge coffee drinker but, I love the hot chocolate and their smoothies! It’s a fun place to sit down and stop along the way. It’s right across from Assiniboine park, so it’s good if you need a little pick me up after a walk.

Terrible service, ordered soup sandwich and a drink and waited 40 min for my order. Ended up asking for a refund after never receiving my order and walked out, I was a frequent visitor but I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon.

Coffee was good, like the atmosphere. Didn't try the food but it looked yummy. I could sense a bit of tension from whom I suspect to the be the manager to the employees (one of whom was on their first day and they did great). It was a good experience though, will be back again.
