XMarket Rideau

So many amazing vegan options. I have found so many new products that I have not heard of before. Lovely staff in store and also amazing uber eats experiences too!

I first stumbled upon Market X when it came up on my reccomendations for Uber Eats. Having lived in Centretown, I was not as familiar with the Byward Market vegan scene. As soon as I saw this feature I knew I had to check it out. Two weeks ago on Saturday, I decided to venture to the market by foot from my abode in Centretown. It took me about 45 minutes, but the sun was shining and I knew I would be eating delicious vegan food. I was curious to find out where this magnifcent restaurant was located, as it appeared like it was inside the Bay when I saw it on Google Maps. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find it had it's own little nook, immediately adjacent to the entrance of the Bay. From the moment I walked in, I was in disbelief of how badly Ottawa needed a venue like Market X. Not only do they have an excellent selection of Cafe food items and beverages, they have a fully functioning store featuring vegan products for all uses. Prepared food, snacks, grocery items, skincare products, cleaning and household products, Market X has it all. And it is all VEGAN! If you are in the market you need to check this place out. If you are out of the Market you need to head to the Market and check this place out. X marks the spot. Market X.

Amazing market with a lot of vegan products.They also have an on-site cafe but would not recomend it as highly. The pastries/ sandwiches are not fresh from the day in our experience...and drinks are served in disposable cups even if you eat in...experience could be better.A bit pricy.

Nice selection of vegan products. Little cafe offered great coffee as well.

On their website, They say they close at 8pm on weekdays, I drove 15 min today, arrived at 7:30pm and it was closed. It looked like it was closed for a long time. I don't want to put a bad review for a vegan store, so I will delete my review when the hours are changed on the website.

Had the just egg croissant and it was amazing!! The jerky might also be my new favorite!

Awesome vegan goods spot right in downtown. Love to get extra funzies to give as presents!

I absolutely love this place! Prices are reasonable and the selection is vast. Try the just egg croissant sandwich :)

Nice concept! But I was overall disappointed with my vegan pulled pork which was dry and not really tasteful. 14$ for that. It was OK (not bad) but I would recommend you to try another one!
