This location does not pick up the phone. I called them over a span of 3 days at different times, and even left messages. Unfortunately this was the only physical location which carried what I needed - when I went in person there was an employee who just ignored the phone... Prices are marked up here, so I recommend you order your parts online if you don't need them ASAP.

Good shop, very fair prices, well stocked. I think that the comments about the owner's lack of helpfulness were the result of unfamiliarity with the normal policy of electronics shops. Customers shouldn't expect extensive technical advice regarding purchases; if you need this, you need to hire someone. It's one thing to ask which part is appropriate for a specific application; it's another thing to ask how to complete a project.

Everything is organized and packaged very well and are all available to view on the walls. Also, every staff member is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely interested in the projects that problem people are building. Only downside is that items are a little pricier than your average place, but the organization and staff make it well worth it!

The web site gives one the impression that the place is well stocked, but many of the items listed online are, in my experience, out of stock in the store. Plus, if you're going to be a customer here, know exactly what you want, and don't expect any help from the staff. Rude, dismissive, totally unwilling to help me identify what parts would be useful for me when I described the problem I was trying to solve. I will do business with almost anyone else in order to avoid having to purchase anything else from these people.

The best aspect of Creatron by far is the organization. Every component comes in it's own labelled bag, and generally with a spec sheet on the website. If you have an idea of what you need, but don't know everything, that will help you out. Contrast that to Home Hardware across the street where all you'll see on the bins is a part number and a price.Prices range from somewhat reasonable to near-gouging, but that's how it is for brick and mortar hobby shops: you're paying for the privilege of being able to have what you want in your hands right now. Prices may be significantly better online, but you pay for it with the weeks you have to wait for shipping.Customer service can be hit-or-miss. No, they won't put together an entire schematic and BOM for you, but they will give advice on specific questions. Give them an educated question and you'll probably get an answer. There has been the occasion where I've gone in for a single part or two and had to get the attention of the employee so they could take my payment.

I guess I got lucky compared to some other reviewers, but I had a great experience here. They had everything I needed, good prices and the staff member working was helpful and friendly.

I come here whenever I need battery compartments for a project as they are a better price here than at home hardware. They also sell aurdino boards like the arduino uno and mega 2560 this is a better store than home hardware to buy arduino components.

Yeah, I don't expect the staff to pour over me with interest in my project, but what's the point of having someone behind the counter if they simply don't want to help at all? I felt like I was wasting the guy's time, or taking him away from something really important. The point of a shop is to help you find what you need, and you need your employees to offer that support. This post won't mean anything to a lot of people, but maybe the managers will take this advice into consideration.
