This is the place to go if you value character.Mike, the proprietor, fills the place with his own unique energy, in particular his sense of humor. It suited me just fine. His wife Ana complements him well.Mike lives to take good care of people, which does not mean coddling, and especially loves to feed them. His food is very good and great value for money.I'll be coming back for another serving.

Let’s start with the food. Ahhhmazing. Best ribs we have had in a long time. Definitely worth the stop. The zucchini casserole was a hit also. The owner wasn’t taking no for an answer about at least trying it. 5 of us tried it, 5 of us loved it.I see a ton of bad reviews here about the owner. He was more than accommodating to our group of 5 pulling in late in the evening. Words of advice if you are not witty and sharp then don’t stop here. The owner is just that, witty and sharp if you have no sense of humour I can see how you might be offended.Stop in, say hello. Sit down and eat a meal and enjoy the quirkiness of the place. It’s fabulous. Thanks so much for having us.

Pass this place by. The owner is a real jerk. We heard him cussing out his wife as she was trying to cook our meal. It was the most uncomfortable dining experience of our lives. Could not wait to finish and get out of there. Not only will we never go there again, I'll probably cringe everytime we drive by the place!

I worked in the area for 6 weeks in 2022. The rib buffet is a VERY good deal and I regret not knowing about it for all my years driving through Clinton. I can count the number of places that serve good food between Hope and PG on one hand, and this is definitely one of the good ones!!Mike is an interesting character and breath of fresh air from the fake people everywhere. His comments are his way of joking/ breaking the ice. If they rub you the wrong way, you need thicker skin.Those of you calling him the r" word in your reviews

Roadkill BBQ! Expect good food, and good times! The owners always serve up good food with the side of humor. I always make sure to stop in every time I am in Clinton, BC. The barbecue ribs and beans are delicious, and their fresh desserts are a treat as well!

Not only huge portions with great price, but vegetable buffet added great balance to large amount of protein!Don’t miss their Wonderful dessert!I came back 3 times while 3 nights stay at Clinton. Tonight unfortunately we have no room for that unforgettable dessert!

Awesome place to stop. Very spacious, clean spots. The food and entertainment (the host definitely keeps you laughing) is a must when you stay there and even if you don't it's a great place for dinner on Clinton. Thanks for having us... See you again

Really great home style food that reminded me of a Caribbean kitchen. Had the salmon. I was great. The zucchini casserole was reeeeally good. The owners were charming and entertaining. We will return.
