Halifax Metro Vineyard

Wonderful people!

Whenever our family visits Nova Scotia we love to worship at the Halifax Vineyard. Love the sense of community there and the people are always warm and friendly. Messages are deep and relevant and the worship spiritually refreshing. An added bonus is that this church feels so “Maritime” from the building, to their Icecream stand and unique Cafe!

Great church

The kids play area hear is amazing for toddlers. Great for birthday parties. The kids won't want to leave. Lots of room for the adults too!

Good food, a good variety and great coffee

We were members of this church from 1996 til 2013, consistently giving money every month for most of those years, and participating in numerous volunteer positions. In 2012, we needed to pause our financial giving due to our own family need, but we kept up volunteering. In early 2013, we received a personal e-mail from the pastor (who had reviewed donor records), asking us to start donating financially again. Asking for a meeting to discuss the appropriateness of his e-mail was met with resistance - I was given ten minutes on the phone. After an appeal to the Board, we did meet with the pastor, but it was obvious by then that we were no longer welcome to be members there.
