So they were hired to do a sewer pipe inspection at my house in order to determine if I needed to change the pipe. They came in with improper equipment which prevented the complete inspection. They charged me more than what had originally been verbally quoted to me ($466 vs $300) even though the job was incomplete. I ended up having to change the whole pipe ($7000) because their inspection was incomplete. They charged me $40 of interest on the invoice although they had never sent it to me. And they can testify to that. And to add insult to injury, they called me unreasonable" for opposing the practice.I give them "1 star" rating because "0 star" rating is not available.I think any good reviews you see here were either paid for by the company or written by friends and family.If you enjoy getting ripped off

They were very prompt answering my service call. Guys were extremely nice and honest. Went over and above what was required. Very impressed. Recommend 110%

Expensive - avoid for all small and medium jobs. I should have asked for prices up front (you should too!!) as the meter starts running the moment the tech starts loading his van at the shop. Also expect extra charges for any tools they may have to use. I called after to negotiate being nickel and dimed, but they were not interested in my repeat business. I probably could have saved over $100 going with someone else for equal work. At least their technicians know what they're doing, and they arrived the same day to fix our problem. I would only recommend if you have a huge job and a budget to match, as I have relative confidence that they likely wouldn't screw it up.

We contracted Brooks and Cryderman to replace a ground source heat pump for us. There price was very competitive and their work was excellent. The finished product was very professional and they cleaned the area up better than it was before. They have my full recommendation!

We needed a lot of little things done, plus installation of a new hot water heater. Called late Monday (Wed was a holiday) they scheduled us for Thursday morning. Got a call at 8:04am Thursday morning telling me they were loaded and leaving the shop. In 2.5 hours, They unhooked an old seized washer, installed new taps, hooked up new washer, replaced an outdoor tap that had frozen, repaired leaky bathroom tap, installed new hot water heater then hauled out the old washer and hot water tank for us. Yes we are impressed. The lads doing the work were friendly & professional chatted for a minute planning their attack and then got right to the job.

First time customer for this company. Required service for a water leak in the bathroom system. Workmanship and clean up was excellent ,also commend the service tech who did the work. Will certainly call for their service again.

Terrible customer service. We have dealt with them before and never been fully satisfied. However, they are the most readily available local handyman service. Nowadays, they refuse to make appointments.A few days after we contacted them about a heating issue they called us back first thing in the morning saying that they were outside our apartment and wanted to be let in. We were completely unavailable, and we asked them to a return a few hours later, in the afternoon, at their best availability, and we would make sure to be home. They told us that was impossible. Seeing as, like most people, we both work and are away from the home frequently, we asked if they could give us a time when they could come by. They refused, telling us they don't make appointments. Since, they have called three times, saying they would be at our address WITHIN 15 MINUTES. One of those times, one of us made it home to let them in. The guy showed up without any tools, and only took a picture of our baseboards, saying he hadn't any intention of doing anything that day. WHICH MEANS WE HAD TO TAKE TIME AWAY FROM OUR WEEKDAY SCHEDULE FOR NO REASON and they couldn't even give us a heads up that this was just going to be a survey. When it came to actually doing anything, they called with 15 minutes notice, again, and we asked for a slotted time, again, and they refused, again.

We have been using this company for a couple of years now. They have been excellent for quick and quality service. The employees are very knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend Brooks and Cryderman!

Stay away. I used their help by looking at the google rating of 4.2 and i thought to trust them. Try to at least avoid Dave. He took 1 hr drive to commute to my house which i had to pay as an hourly charge. He took his time to install a dishwasher and was extremely slow. It was a brand new install just connect the water and electricity but he took 3 hours to do so. He went back to buy or get parts that something he should have had with him but he was not professional and so I had to pay for this trip. Overall not very professional for a dishwasher install it was $520 and they say it was a regular straight on job nothing complicated. :) stay away they are not professional and should not be having a 4.2 review. People please share your thoughts if they are over charging so new customers will stay away. Thank you.
