Regina, the owner of this store, was incredibly friendly and made my experience amazing. She was super passionate about the items in her store and the goals for this place. Loved all the sustainable, cute and thought-out items throughout the store.

Nice helpful Staff.Severely overpriced on many items. Example: A book originally selling for $10.95 marked up to $15. And available online with free shipping for $9.86.Clean store with a good variety of knick knacks...cards, books, jewelry, soaps, mixes for drinks...The neighbourhood is changing yes and this store has been here for a while but nevertheless, overpriced for this part of the world.PS: The soaps can be found for less down the street on Queen from the parent company.

Cool shop to check out. They have an awesome card selection, from nice polite ones to the usual raunchy one too. Shop also does have unique items that you most likely won’t find in average stores. If you’re looking for something special for that special someone, this is definitely the store I would recommend.

I love this store. The staff are super friendly, the products are beautiful, and the space is inviting and attractively laid out.The thing I love about it most though is how humane the experience is. Having had customer service experiences during the pandemic that have been very rigid and crazy-making, the folks at Labour of Love prioritise the human interaction over policies, so little gestures like calling to confirm pickup dates etc make a huge difference.They are fabulous and local and high quality. You should shop there!
