Govender Preneshlin V Dr

I consider myself so blessed to have had Dr. Govender as my neurosurgeon. He was very clear on the surgery that I required and explained everything to me. In the operating room he took the time to talk to me and explain again what he was going to do. I had a Laminectomy with decompression on L3, L4 & L5. Post Op he let me know the surgery went well. The healing process has been amazing. I can't say enough good things about this doctor.

Dr. Govender performed a laminectomy and instrumented stabilization on my spine 2 months ago. In my opinion he is an extremely gifted and proficient surgeon. Surgery has been very successful - already almost pain free and walking farther longer than ever before in my life. Words can not describe how grateful I am for his expertise and dedication. No wonder he has the longest waitlist for back surgery. He's worth waiting for.

I am 3 years now out of L4-L5 Fusion Dr. Govender Is absolutely amazing I do not remember feeling this good ever in my life what an amazing person he is! I am only one of the VERY lucky people that has successfully been repaired by him. Thank you again Dr. Govender you saved me!

Dr. Govender has been a Godsend for me. I recently was admitted to Kelowna General Hospital for emergency surgery to my C Spine. Dr. Govender came to see me daily. Explained fully everything that was going on in my neck. I had lost feeling in my hands and the whole of the right side of my body was weak. Dr. Govender did a very difficult surgery and I am glad to say, within two days I had feeling coming back into my hands.. I would recommend Dr. Govender to anyone who needs a great Neurosurgeon.

I also had a laminectomy by Dr Govender which as he said it would, ended my continual leg pain. An excellent skilled doctor I recommend without hesitation. Was also pleased with Kelowna hospital stay.

I had my back surgery June 21, 2002. On Jan.1,2023, I returned to XC skiing and Ski Touring. I am so grateful to Dr.Governder for his expertise, bed side manner and a wonderful man to chat with. Thank you for everything!

Awesome Doctor - Very friendly staff. He recognized the urgency of my surgery and got me in as quick as he was able. Explained pre-op & post-op. Excellent follow up. I was in the Kelowna Hospital for 2 weeks and came and saw me every day. Also followed up with me after I returned home. I am very thankful.

I broke my neck on a trampoline... the Emerg doctors said I should have been dead or paralyzed. I ended up with doctor Govender for my Neuro surgeon and was extremely grateful for his care. He truly cared for me and went over and above to ensure my surgery, rehab, and hospital stay was the absolute best for me and my situation. I had 4&5 fused and had a full recovery. I am back living the life I used to prior to the accident!! Thank you thank you thank you Dr Govender!!

I was supposed to have Spine surgery with this Dr June 30th. He cancelled because he wanted to add another day off to the upcoming long week end. While I suffer...I was rescheduled for July 6th. I travelled from Castkegar. I cannot drive myself due to pain. My driver had returned same day. After laying in OR admitting for 4 hrs very uncomfortable my surgery was cancelled gain! I had to have Covid test. I travelled. Hospital duscharged me with no place to go. Severe pain. The surgery I thought I was having was removal of L2 L3. The nurse informed me this so called Dr was planning if removing ALL Lumbar vertebra L1 L2 L3 K4 and L5. Thus was the 1st I heard of this. His lack of communication is unacceptable!
