My first time working together with Kai; he appreciates what will work for pruning and scaling back on a large garden that has been overgrown for the past year! He provides guidance and listens to ensure that your both on the same page. I am very happy with quality of the work in my front (3 tiers) yard which included, hedges, bushes, trees, ground cover etc and backyard (2 tiers), large trees, shrubs, flowering bushes etc. They are respectful about responding to feedback and very clean, I appreciate the quality and care they put into the work.

Kai was amazing. When we had questions and concerns he was patient and always willing to explain with great detail everything he was doing for us. When there were any issues or ideas, he always consulted with us to get our input. Most of all, Kai delivered what he promised and always found ways to work with us and at a fair price. We are very pleased with his work and his crew. Kai, thanks for a great retaining wall.

Kai was recommended to us by our neighbour. We had a small job to remove grass from our front yard, replant several boxwood shrubs and finish our front yard with mulch. After initial meeting, the work was done quickly and exactly as planned. A box of chocolates we received from Kai at Christmas was a nice touch too. We have more landscape work coming up, which we hope Kai will be able to accommodate in his schedule in the upcoming months.

Kai’s team did a great job on our fence and wooden retaining wall project. He gave us different options on how to complete the project based on our budget/needs. His team was friendly and left the job site very clean. I will be using/recommending Kai for any future landscaping jobs.

We had Kai install new sod in our front yard as well as design and install a new outdoor water channel in our backyard. Kai was great to work with from start to finish. He was respectful of our budget, listened to our input, and produced a great plan. During installation, our project had his full attention and his crews were great! No detail was overlooked and we are thrilled with the results! I highly recommend Kai Shang Garden & Landscaping.

Thank you for doing a wonderful job with our landscaping project. We had many things done: an asphalt driveway, shrub removal, trimming/clearing, blocker and mulch on garden beds, filling of garden boxes, wooden border removal and backfilling, concrete and pavers to replace sidewalks after drain tile work, and planting of new bushes. Kai and all of the employees were polite, respectful, tidy and did a high quality job with attention to detail. Kai was patient and responsive to my needs, and offered lots of good ideas. The price was also fair. The project took longer than originally thought but was worth the wait. I love my new yard and would definitely hire this company again for my landscaping needs.

This man saw me stuck in the middle of the street and graciously offered his help to me. With his hard work and quick thinking, I was out of there within 10 minutes and I have him to thank for all of it. He is incredibly generous and went out of his way to help me. Thank you good Samaritan!

Kai and his teams are amazing. He helped me to renovate my gardening, initially he gave me a lot of good ideas and inspired me a lot. When the work started, he and his team are super efficient and when everything is done I couldn’t be happier with the result. He constantly asked me for any of my concerns and feedbacks. If I get more landscaping projects in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to Kai again!

It's with great pleasure that I write this review. I'm extremely particular and would write a scathing review if warranted. It's only fair that when someone is extraordinary, a deserving review is also written.We recently needed to demo a falling apart old wooden deck, escavate, build a paving stone patio, retaining wall, large double wide stair landing, and river rock border. Our dear friend and neighbor just had a large paver patio built and it was beautiful. The quality of the work was excellent and she was very happy with the service and price. I contacted Kai and was able to reach him quickly and we setup a time for him to come have a look at the job I needed done. He had some great ideas for us and we waited for a quote. My wife and I were pleased with the price and we contacted Kai to proceed with the job. He was punctual and maintained constant communication. If for some reason he would be later than expected or the weather wasn't cooperating, he would always contact me to let me know. Any deficiencies were addressed and dealt with immediately. He was always professional, respectful and courteous. I have since referred him to my brother and a good friend of ours. I HIGHLY recommend Kai of Kai Shang Garden and Landscape. His work is flawless and excellent quality. My wife and I are thrilled with our new yard and the quality work that Kai and his entire crew have done.Paul Amenta
