This was my first time at renting equipment for a DIY project. The associates were very helpful, having said....do your research first on what you will need to do a job....although helpful you cant expect the staff to know everything about every piece of equipment. In my case I rented a sander for re-doing hardwood. The associates will have no idea how much sandpaper your going to need...I used 5 sheets of 60 grit, 4 sheets of 80 grit and 3 sheets of 120 grit to clean up about 200 square feet of floor. You will use lots of sand paper for this type of project. They recommended I buy more supplies than I though I would need and return whats unused....worked great!
