To date over the past month, 4 different technicians have attended to repair an LG refrigerator less than three years old. On each occasion, the technician said he needed to order parts. Sometimes only a day goes by before a phone call is received to advise that the parts are in please call to schedule and appointment. An appointment which is never available for many more days! When asked what the problem is, the technician says he doesn't know - if so what parts is he ordering? Obviously not the right ones as the problem persists. Sadly, they have been employed by the warranty company or I would never ever use them! Incompetence and disorganization would best describe their operation ! The technician can be scheduled to arrive between 12 and 3 and show up at 6 pm with never a call to say there is a problem, running late etc. ARS shows no respect for the valuable time their clients sit waiting and no concern that a repair take weeks and weeks and the food keeps spoiling!

Called over a month ago for a dryer repair & they booked the wrong tech although we were crystal clear about it being a gas dryer.When correct tech arrived I asked for the quotation in writing before agreeing to the repair and ordering of parts & he told me to take a picture of his phone" but wanted to charge us for the service call right away.Days later they sent us an bill that contained an additional $150 service call which I had to then dispute. . . all the while the correct part had NOT actually been ordered.What should've been a simple fix has turned into a multi-step back and forth process & we are still waiting for a working dryer a month and a half later.Buyer beware. This company is completely unprofessional."

I bought an LG fridge 3 months ago (brand new) and it started making a weird noise. I called LG and they scheduled ARS to diagnose and fix the problem. The service man spent maybe close to 2 hours of which 95% of the time he was on his phone, texting someone which appeared to me as asking for instructions. He has no clue what he was doing and in the process decided to remove the inner compartments of the fridge. I noticed for at least an hour he was struggling with one compartment and I had to tell him because I lost my patience as to what is taking him so long. Today we decided to clean the fridge and found the same compartment fitting was cracked (it was not visible to us before) and the compartment does not have a wheel! I cannot believe this, he lost the wheel and for sure cracked the compartment and did not even tell us! Do not use their service, very unprofessional and I hope never to use their service again.

Very disappointed ARS. They advertise fast service, it took them 10 days to arrive. They say the $120 service fee includes the estimate for the repair. They couldn't repair the washing machine because the part was discontinued. Then charged me $247 total for the visit. I found the replacement part on Samsung's parts website in 15 minutes, for $75 delivered, had it in 2 days and installed it in 1/2 hour. Samsung is great. ARS Appliance Repair Service not so much.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! If I could rate lower I would.Avoid at all costs. If you like being on hold for an obscene amount of time only for your call to go to voicemail and not be returned you’re in luck! It’s been 4 weeks and I still have not received the replacement part for our dishwasher to have it repaired. 9 times out of 10 when I call I cannot get through to someone and if I do, they have no idea what’s going on, show no understanding nor empathy for my frustrations, and do not help me what so ever. A massive waste of time. This company is an absolute joke and has terrible “customer service”. Save yourself the headache and go with another company, trust me!

Serviceman came to the house and advised that we would need a couple of parts which he was able to find in Hamilton. He advised us that if were to order the parts and pay for them we would have 30 days to cancel incase the oven started to work OK again, which can happen. If we cancelled we would only have to pay for the service call. This sounded good so we ordered and paid for the part. The oven worked fine ever since the day the serviceman was here, so we called to cancel the parts. Then were were told we would have to pay a 25% restocking charge on the parts in addition to the service call. Really, there was no talk of a restocking charge when we agreed to order the parts. Seemed like a significant thing on some expensive parts, but it never was discussed or documented anywhere. We are hoping that ARS will understand this error and give us the credit we were promised by the serviceman.

Had an appointment confirmed for between 11am-2pm. The tech never showed up, no calls, nothing. LG tried to reach them also for me, but they could not get an answer either. How unprofessional and totally unreliable! LG needs to drop these people from their list of authorized repair shops for their products.

Waist of time, came out to tell me after an hour of inspection for a SUD error code to run the washing machine on tub clan with bleach. When I told the technician that I already went through the basic trouble shooting for the error code, he said there is nothing wrong with it and to run the tub clean cycle again. I did as he advised and the machine still doesn't work. When I asked if it's possible that the sensor is broken he omitted that possibility and left with no further support.I'm on my fourth call to LG and yet another service appointment.

I bought a Samsung fridge 2 months ago and one day it decided to stop working and I had to throw more than $200 of groceries. Samsung reps were very rude and they sent a tech from ARS to fix my fridge. The tech came and was googling everything, I could have done that myself, I thought these were professionals. He then said there’s a part that he needs and will come back Monday, I asked do I need to call ARS to book this appointment and he said no it’ll be me who will come back so don’t worry. Monday comes, I thought let me give them a call and see, they said no one is coming and there’s no appointment. I requested since it’s their employee that made a promise and didn’t fulfill, can they schedule me in the next few days, and they said it would be sometime next week. I don’t like to eat from outside but I’ve been spending a lot of money grabbing food because of them. Reading other reviews now, I see they don’t call their customers back, you have to run after them. They are lucky warranty users HAVE to work with them or they wouldn’t have any business! The lady on the phone was not even trying to help me, she just kept saying I’m sorry you don’t have an appointment.
