Fresh food, and a clean place. The lady was friendly enough. My only complaint is that you get mostly sauce so it's lacking chicken pieces and paneer pieces so if you cheap out on that.....then at least they should include naan bread with it! Lower prices, or add more chicken, or include naan bread because right now its good but not worth the price!

Horrible food. The golgappa Pani was stale and tasted artificial. Dahi Puri was just as bad, they couldn't even bother to assemble it, gave the dahi and chutney separate. Puris were too small too. Overall, a waste of time and money.

Nice place to have Gujarati food. Their Samosa are one of the bests in Halifax. Their chaats are also good. Definitely recommend for snacks.

Travelling from Toronto to all the way here, we never expected that we(4 people) will have a typical Gujarati taste this far,Unnati welcomed with a smile and Self serve is the option that works well and you admire the food that you order.quality of the food was very fresh, home made taste of the food ordered made it a must visit again. Also the service was courteous as well.We felt as of we are home..

Traveling from Calgary, found this quaint joint in google search. Food was great, the set up was very low key but we had a take out. The service was great, pleasant. Would come back!

A quaint family run business, the food was delicious, and well made, fresh and authentic. We had a great meal. I would recommend a little more chicken in the butter chicken, and that Naan be included with meals like Butter Chicken, however, all in all a great experience. Thank you!

Average food . No service at all. I understand it's self service however the person did not even care to offer water which is the basic courtesy, and expected us to tip for nothing. I cannot believe they have such high rating for such a horrible service and average food.

Really delicious; shared all the different puri dishes with friends (they come with 8 separate little bites) and it was such a fun way to experience new flavours. Oh - and puris are super tasty but not spicy at all. Highly recommend.

The lady at the reception is rude and doesn't want to take any feedback. Look at the amount of curd given with biryani and dahi puri -1 spoon . It's better not to give it rather than offering 1 spoon.When I wanted to share a feedback with her, her argument was that all restaurants do the same and she was following what others did.If this is the herd mindset we are following, god bless Indian cuisine in halifax.

This was my first experience with Indian food and I Love this place. The staff is super friendly and helped me figure out some great dishes to try and I was very happy with all the food. My beautiful girl and I ordered the onion pakora, Dahi Puri, Samosa Chat and Veg-Biryani, (which is missing from the photo.) My favourite was either the Dahi Puri or the Samosa Chat, but it was all super tasty. We will definitely be eating here more often.
