I was not impressed with their service station at all. There is a sign that says “no public washrooms”. I asked the man running the till to confirm this and he said “no we don’t have public washrooms” while a customer is passing a bathroom key to the next customer to use.Maybe change your sign to say “customer use only”. I understand having a sign up to keep the riffraff out of your bathrooms but use your discretion when a potential customer, driving across Canada, needs to stop for snacks and a bathroom break.

GO ONE BLOCK DOWN TO ESSO FOLKS.No bathrooms? Consisting I dropped $75 in gas, I am a paying customer and should be entitled to a free pee pit stop. Uncool and unprofessional. Also zero squeegees? Travelling thru Ontario and tons of bugs. They had full buckets of juice but no squeegees. Again, skip this station and go to Esso... And I'm not an Esso girl.

The person who was working there when we stopped for gas was super rude, hostile and wasn't wearing a mask. He seemed reluctant to let us use the washroom, and insisted we use a key for the washroom, which is unsafe and unhygienic in a time of Covid. We are driving across Canada and have mostly met wonderful people on our trip. This person certainly gives a poor impression of the town of Ignace, and we will not be stopping here again if we can help it.

Im a trucker from BC, stopped for a coffee and filled up my thermos with hot water. Coffee was about $2, fine but the lady charged me $3 for 1.2 liter of hot water, said her water runs off the meter. That was in December 2020. I've been all across the continent and have never paid for water. Just sharing the story, don't want to curse anyone for $3 hope it was worth it. 0

No public washrooms even for paying customers “because of graffiti”? They sent us away with a baby to drive to the tourism office up the highway.

Much great work since the change of owners. Really appreciate the efforts. So helpful and generous people. The gas station also has an ATM machine to withdraw cash and even the cheapest in the town. Must visit if travel from this beautiful place, Ignace.

Still no public washroom here due to “act of vandalism”. Don’t bother trying the Esso up the road either. Go to the Info Center. Finding a decent washroom to use on our drive across Ontario and back has been such a pain.

Steer clear of this place: After a long slog driving from Thunder Bay we were - first off - anxious to use a washroom then gas up and buy a few snacks for the remainder of our journey. A large sign on the door said there were no public washrooms and each of the doors to the restrooms had large signs saying Washroom Closed" .. This did not bode well. We asked if there were any washrooms we could use and he said we could try the tourist information centre. We hopped back in the car and with nature's call literally screaming we spotted the Esso station just down the road. What a different story. Both washrooms were open to the public. The owner of the station also has the Subway sandwich shop in the same building. After having used the washrooms my wife and I had a nice chat with the owner
