Akko Ltd Cement Finishers

Awesome!I had arranged a meeting to get an estimate on some work.Their rep was punctual, knowledgeable and answered all my questions.The written estimate was emailed very quickly.Everyone that I talked to was courteous, helpful and friendly.I can hardly wait to see the work finished.

I just wanted to warn people on the roads to be careful driving around these guys.For some reason they think it’s REALLY cool to take a left turn from the right turning lane across an entire intersection and nearly cause multiple accidents! Super cool. Sure hope your concrete pouring is better than your driving, clowns.

Last May I had Akko replace and expand a concrete patio and sidewalk. When they came to do an estimate they were knowledgable and accommodating. The price was reasonable and they kept me informed of the date of installation which changed because of weather issues. They arrived promptly on the date and completed the work within a day. I am impressed with the patio and have had no problems with it.

We live in Ilderton ON in a new neighbourhood. When we planned to complete our driveway we took quotes from 3 different contractors .Even though the price was a bit high comparing with other contractors, we chose Akko based on the high rated reviews this company has on their website. We chose the broom finish for our driveway but the finishing was really poor. We were extremely unsatisfied with the results that turned out as there were bumps and stone pieces popping up here and there. We brought this issue to their notice and they did remove all the driveway and put on new concrete over our driveway. This too turned out to be of terrible finish and it seemed the workers did everything in a hurry just for the sake of doing it. We spent almost 16k dollars on this project and in the name of broom finish, what we got was bumps all over our driveway. Many other concrete workers who completed projects in our neighborhood came to us and told how pathetic the work has been done and that we should be filing a case against Akko for not fulfilling what they promised. We signed a one year warranty with the agreement. So we did contact the company multiple times via phone and emails and they told their supervisor would be visiting us to take the necessary action but it's been almost 2 months and inspite of sending emails and calling them, we have not yet received any positive response on when the supervisor will come or do what is needed. We will not recommend Akko for any projects. Very poor and incompetent work.We would suggest everyone not to choose Akko and make the mistake we made!

Eleven years ago we had Akko do our stamped concrete driveway. In the 11 years the driveway has had no cracking so we decided to have them return. . They did the same pattern with sidewalks along the side of our house and an upper concrete patio plus a lower one tying into an original area.They made design proposals which we really appreciated and it all turned out very well. We are more than pleased! The crew worked several days on this project, putting in long, hard hours. We have recommended Akko to many other people. We are extremely satisfied.

I initially called Akko when it was time to complete the new walkway from my front driveway to my backyard. I had heard many good things plus I have seen several other jobs they had completed in the past for friends and business partners alike, so they were one of my top choices right away to call for a quote. It was the first and last call I made. Dealing with the office staff, to the salesman, and lastly with the actual guys on site completing the work, it was nothing but a great experience from start to finish. I wanted my new sidewalk to match as much as possible with my already existing colored exposed stone aggregate driveway and they did not disappoint! Without a doubt, I will be a return customer. I contracted Akko to replace sections of concrete sidewalks and common areas causing trip hazards for a housing complex I manage. All the staff, office & contractors, were easy to work with, informative and accommodating. The quality of work throughout the project was excellent and were happy with the outcome. Great company.

We had our driveway, walkway & step done by Akko a few weeks ago, and we are so pleased with the completed project!In the spring, my husband & I decided to replace our asphalt driveway with concrete. We also wanted to widen the driveway, and to replace the existing walkway and front step. We did some research, and we asked Akko to come out to provide us with a quote. They were very knowledgeable, and they answered all of our questions. They even came out again when we had more questions.The earliest that they could start our project was September, which was fine with us. It was a 3-step process: excavation, forming and pouring. They did a great job - they formed and poured everything to our specifications. We love it, and our neighbours have been admiring our project as well!

Man in a company truck tried todrive us off the road.. Doing 40 in a60 zone with a single line on the road. policing in a life threatening manner isn't acceptable ever. Scared the heck out of us. I wouldn't want liability like that in my company vehicle..

I had a steep hill from driveway to backyard patio, between 2 houses. Another competitor said I could not have cement stairs installed. After a recommendation, I had Akko come very quickly and quote me installation of 8, deep elongated steps that look amazing and work perfectly for this location. I also had them pour a platform in an alcove in the same area that will allow me shed storage in the Spring. I have had lighting added now and it is a perfect solution to a challenging location.
