Superior Propane

Normally I would give Superior a 5 star review. They take care of my propane needs well for a fair price. But recently they charged my account for propane that was delivered to someone else! It was over $900, and despite 3 calls (with loooonnng waits to reach an agent) they still haven’t refunded my money. Each time they say they will, but it hasn’t happened yet :-( and I had to pay the amount so that my visa wouldn’t charge interest. This happened 2.5 months ago… still waiting. Hopefully someone helpful at Superior will see this and make it right!Update… someone at Superior did see this review. He called me, said thanks for bringing it to his attention, and I have now received a credit for their error. All good.

Needed my tank replaced. Done right and when the time was arranged! Very happy with the service and product!Well things went south in a hurry. My GPS on the tank was not working properly. I called and waited on hold for over an hour. I e mailed them because my GPS said 45% but I was at 15% on the tank during winter. No return call and no reply to my e mail. I called a local company and they came right away. Local businesses are way easier to contact. I started with Can West Propane before Superior bought them and took over. If a problem came up, they were a phone call away. Superior has a call center back east. I went with a local company that answers their phone. Old school. The pick up of my tank cost me close to $300. Not understanding that one as I paid close to $200 in rental of the tank (Pig) for a year.

On June 12th, 2023 at 11:30am, I went there to fill my 30 lb propane tank. The tank filler was quite rude and charged me by the slender instead of the weight. I asked him how they charged by slim when they were charging by weight, but he didn't even respond.Obnoxious and stealing money.

we have the wifi unit attached to our propane tank and Superior has been very reliable. (they come when it's about 30% left in the tank)

Service is OK but there is a lot of confusion at the company, not sure why the driver would fill the tanks and then tell us they were out of date, the someone from the office calls and askes when they can come and replace the tanks, the office called back a week later with the same question. Our neighbour has bee waiting for two years to have his tank replaced.

Prompt and courtesy service. I signed up and two days later there were two full tanks at my home. There are centers on the tank propane levels can be checked through an app on your phone.

I ran out of propane in February. First time ever running out in winter and I was so happy to have delivery the next day

Serious lack of communication and organization. It took me five calls over four months to actually get through to register as new owner of the house. I still have not received my welcome email or package in the mail. One day a delivery driver was honking at the end of our driveway saying we're blocking his way. Two weeks ago I requested a smart meter and fill up knowing that the weather was about to get bad, and I get told it will happen by Jan 7th. They came last week and only did the smart meter. Now we sit here in 2 feet of snow with our tank at 23% worried about using our only heat source that we will run our before they come back to Bowen Island next week.

I came home from work and my tank was full! No issues whatsoever they did a great job and left my place as they found it
