Dori takes her teaching seriously and she helps her students reach their goals. She spends lots of time preparing and puts much efforts into delivering good quality of classes. When asked with quesitons, she patiently and caringly answers and goes through them until you are helped. She is an optimistic, dedicated, and passionate teacher.

Dori is a subject matter expert, but more importantly she knows how to motivate and engage students. She comes prepared with a plan for every class and breaks down complex concepts to facilitate understanding while continuously reinforcing the fundamentals to build a stronger knowledge base in her students.Dori sets the bar high, but she is also an expert in adjusting to the level and needs of her students, making sure they make progress and reach their goals!

Math, for me, has always been a struggle until I met Dori. Last year in grade 10 math, I nearly failed the course. Because of my past experiences with math, I was particularly scared about grade 11 functions. I started my sessions with Dori at the beginning of math this year, and working with her has been such a pleasure for me; I have made a huge improvement in math! I just got my mid-term report card, and seeing I got 93% in math made me so happy and proud of myself! I couldn't see myself getting to this point without Dori. She can explain and break down everything she teaches me, making math make sense! She's truly a life-saver, and I would recommend her as a tutor for every type of learner.
