If you are a fan of Chinese cuisine specifically Cantonese and are in Montreal you have to try these guys out.I have spent a lot of time & money over the years trying Chinese restaurants all across Canada and can tell you that these guys are doing it right. I live in Vancouver but every time I am in Montreal I make sure I go here for fantastic food. Great staff & speedy service. I wish I had these guys in my neighborhood. If you guys like authentic Cantonese then try these guys out. Been going for years and it is consistently fantastic.

Food in general was good! The fried squid was well crispy the beef with black bean sauce was good. The duck soup was missing a bit of flavor and it didn't have a lot of duck meat. The chicken (half) was good and really crispy.

I was visiting Montreal from Boston and when I was walking around Chinatown here, I decided to try this restaurant. I had a very unhappy lunch experience here. I would not recommend this restaurant. The service is terrible. The waiters here serve foreigners very well, but serve Chinese people poorly! Our waiter was a man. When we were not satisfied with a dish and wanted to return it, the waiter told us that it was our problem!He also told his colleagues in Cantonese that it was our problem! He also pretended not to understand Chinese in front of us! He looks like he has a big opinion of us!I highly do not recommend this restaurant!

Simply the best Chinese food in Montreal. Amazing staff. No frills, but oh man! The chow mein is done to perfection. If you're looking for a meal to keep you happy, Cantonaise is the place.

Restaurant Cuisine Cantonaise
There are tons of menu options as a first time Cantonaise client, but we asked the waiter and he politely explained the best option for us. We got the bowl and cooked our own food. It was a nice experience and the it tasted yummy. Service and food was really good. Staff are very friendly. I will go back again soon, so i cannot say i wont recommend :)
