The entire ambience of the place was nice - staff was friendly and attentive! I had booked a mani/pedi for my mother and myself. Called ahead and booked - they weren’t very busy yesterday so didn’t have an issue getting in. Went at the suggestion of a friend - I was fairly adamant about getting regular polish only because my nails are recovering from a bad gel job that happened two months ago. Didn’t have any major concerns with my pedicure. However, my manicure was uneven, rushed and improperly done - they were brush marks on 6/10 nails and I didn’t initially pay attention too much as I was sitting in the pedicure chair while the technician held my hand and did my manicure - but the minute I stepped out of the salon and looked in the sunlight it looked horrible and I was quite upset and unhappy and had been here for over 2 hours at this point so I just wanted to get home as it felt like a waste of time for 30 min drive I had taken to get here :( I don’t think I’ll be returning as I’ve never had regular polish so poorly done and I’ve gotten it at three other salons around Calgary. Unfortunate, since the staff did appear to be nice and the overall place was quite clean.UPDATE: Initially rated 3/5 due to the above noted comments. However, Tina (owner) reached out initially after this incident took place and was able to schedule me back in to get this matter resolved! Absolutely loved the treatment and the care with which matters were handled today, they were very busy but handled all clientele with care and professionalism :) nails look lovely and even brought my dad in to get his pedicure done and he loved it! Tina was an absolute delight and even provided a complimentary voucher which was above and beyond what I had expected! I am so glad I was able to give this salon another opportunity and they’ve since exceeded my expectations!

Love this nail salon! Came in with some pretty specific ideas and they exceeded them!

Great service got me and my daughter in for last minute pedi and mani for her and pedi and fill for me. All of the ladies were so sweet!

We were just visiting Calgary and booked the service in a last minute. As it was our first time being in the store and did not know the differences among services. The staffs were great and worked extra time helping us choose the right service packages and pick colours. Highly recommended.

The best! I was a walk in and asked for a design. The lady who did my nails was so friendly and did such a good job. I will be back :)

Some good points and some frustrating points about this particular nails spa. They are really hardworking and it shows. Very busy location and they are all fairly friendly. I used to really like this place because they took their time and put in the effort of the quality outcomes. I like them because they are pretty quick with nails and waxing. However one of the ladies messed up my eyebrows really badly, she was very sweet and tried her best but she completely waxed off the arches of my brows. I told her I wanted to go SLIGHTLY thinner with a high arch and she completely waxed off BOTH of my arches and made it hideously round. It was so upsetting that I politely brought it up to one of the other ladies immediately after and told them what happened and if they can fix my ruined brows. The other lady tried fixing it a bit by making them extremely thin. Now I have these extremely thin eyebrows with no proper shape as I had requested. I was hoping they would admit to the mistake and at least have the courtesy to not charge me for it.. mistakes happen and that’s why I did not bother to escalate this any further but I would have at the very least would have liked to been acknowledged when I was visibly upset about my eyebrows being ruined. The lady who “tried” fixing it did not show any sympathy for me when I was quietly and kindly telling her that my eyebrows were not how I wanted them.

Got the herbal pedicure with shellac and classic mani shellac. We really enjoyed our service there. The interior isn't super fancy but it's clean. They had the massage chairs and it was very nice. The herbal pedicure was such a treat! I would love to go again to get that done! I think my mom and my sister had a better technician than I did. Even my sister was looking at my nails and thought it could have been applied better. Saw some lumps and colours not fully saturated on the nail. But all in all, we had a great experience and I would likely come back again!

I had medi and pedicure done by Monica. This is my third time getting my nails done by her and I'm very pleased. I have been to this salon many times in previous years, but now I choose Monica. All the staff are very friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harvest Hills Nails and Spa.
