Golf Town

I came into this store with every intention of purchasing a new driver after my previous one was stolen. The staff here were potentially the least helpful sales staff (bar one guy I who helped me previously) I have ever encountered. Never have I asked a staff member how their day is going just to be completely ignored… shocking service. I’d avoid this place like the plague and go visit another GT location or just get fit at a place like modern golf.

Manager Derrick did a great job fixing an error on the stores part and made things right. Glad to know the store treats customers with respect when they have an issue.

Brooke Hendersen meet and greet was great she was awesome with all the kids! I think they sell golf clubs there also!

I used to live right behind it and I had come once while I was starting working. Everything made me want to bring home and enjoy.20 years have passed and a lot has changed. The only thing remains is that it is still a popular spot and still providing thousands of people hope, assistance and the joy of golf. I wish they had kept the swing analyzer and fitting suggestion. I did not see it today. I guess that is a managerial decision.Still love this place even though comparing with US’ PGA Superstore or Golf Galaxy, it is a smaller shop, for us, it is still good enough to visit and to see the new clubs and accessories.Great place to visit.

Visited Golftown early yesterday afternoon(Mon April 10) and wanted to get 1 grip installed and took about 25 mins to get someone to the counter to be told they are short staffed and can not complete the work. Great customer service GT!

Poor customer service. Asked for the availability of a club shown online, but they don’t bother checking it at all just tell you it might be there and continues to stand facing the entrance. There were literally no other customers. While I was on the practice mat putting and trying putters, the staff kept stepping on my line over and over again to help other customers. FINALLY, after they were done servicing the other customer, I asked for a putter to try and it took 10 minutes because they found another customer to service on their way to the storage. Wouldn’t have bothered me as much if there wasn’t a direct comparison to the service I received and the service I saw they provided to customers right beside me. Customer service here could be compared to the service in luxury retail stores where they would only give customers who dressed the part the time of day. Very disappointing.

The store is well maintained and clean and spacious. Only wish is that they would have more sizing and selection for womens in the glove and clothes department. I manage to snag some good deals every once in a while. They are also generous with their exchange policy. I've had some friends with driver heads that flew off and they got a replacement for free.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I walked around for at least 15 min with no one saying hello (until I walked out). I was looking at shoes for at least 10 min, no one asked if I wanted a size. The store was empty in terms of customers, and there were plenty of staff to assist me.
