We reached out to LYS when we heard they were working on another restaurant in the city (one of our favourites actually!), and when we met Melanie, we knew instantly it was the right decision. Melanie and Emily knew exactly what we were going for, and because this was our second location, they knew how to elevate our look while keeping the essence of the BiBi's brand. They have been such a joy to work with that we've partnered with them again to help revamp our first location! They make us look good and we proudly recommend them to anyone - and not just for commercial projects. Believe me, we'll be calling Melanie for every project we have moving forward. We consider LYS part of the BiBi's family :)

Melanie is amazing!!! She’s designed 2 projects for my home. First- a very difficult kitchen design due to a small and awkward original kitchen layout. She designed the new space from floor to ceiling, from removing a load-bearing wall all the way to the fun stuff like lighting and backsplash. Melanie always took into consideration our style, our likes and dislikes and also our budget!!! Melanie is very down to earth, personable and fun. Second- she updated the curb-appeal of our house with color enhancement for the shutters and garage door and added a focal point with charred cedar siding.My husband and I are thrilled to have worked with Melanie and we will continue to do so for future projects.

Melanie and Emily are a design tour de force! We had no idea where to start with our full basement renovation. Melanie listened intently when she came to look at the space, and then patiently talked us through what the design process would be like. When we received our first draft of the design, we could not believe how well Melanie and Emily were able to convert all our wants and needs into the perfect design. They were EXTREMELY patient about all the little changes we requested, and always ready to make changes and suggestions to make the design fit our budget without compromising on the overall esthetic.Another benefit of working with them has been not needing to worry about vetting general contractors ourselves, as they have several amazing ones that they work with and trust. This has been a big weight off our shoulders through the process.We would highly recommend Launch Your Space to anyone looking to make their renovation dreams come true. We can't wait to continue working with Melanie and Emily :)

Amazing experience with Melanie and her team. Professional, very responsive and know their stuff! The room we got went beyond what we had imagined!

It was a pleasure working with Melanie Neault on our home kitchen and bathroom renovation. Her design helped us to maximize the workspace in the kitchen while also maximizing storage. She had innovative ideas to deal with a tricky corner for cabinets in the kitchen. Another idea that worked really well was removing 2 doors and replacing one with a pocket door (leading to the basement stairs)and the other with an arched entry way, created a much less crowded entry to the kitchen. Her work was always on time and she was very receptive to my ideas while gently nudging me out of my zone of familiarity. This was particularly helpful in the bathroom which was a complete redo. I had clear ideas on floor and wall tile and shower placement etc but had never considered going with brushed gold finishes on the shower, faucet etc. It makes the room look so great! Melanie was also very responsive to a request to prepare the bathroom drawings with a very tight deadline when the contractor decided to do the kitchen and bathroom renos simultaneously. The initial plan had been to do them sequentially, starting with the kitchen which would have given Melanie about 6 weeks to prepare the bathroom plans. She did it in less than a week to meet a deadline for having all the electrical and plumbing rough ins planned.Melanie also responded very promptly when I let her know we needed one more pot light in the kitchen as those installed were casting light behind the sink and counter top so they were in shadow. She thanked me for pointing this out and sent me a revised drawing with the suggested placement of the new pot light highlighted within half an hour of me emailing her with my concern. Keep in mind that all the other lighting had already been installed!I unreservedly recommended Melanie as a talented and very capable designer who has a terrific work ethic, great ideas and a really good sense of humour.

This is the first time I have worked with an interior designer, and I cannot imagine a better experience. Mel really listened to understand my needs, aesthetic preferences, and vision for my space, and created gorgeous designs for me. I really appreciated that she provided decor options at various price points, and is willing to work with the timeline that my budget allows. She is creative, professional, delivers well within the timelines she sets, and her passion shines through in her interactions and her designs. 100% recommend!

After purchasing an older outdated home with a choppy layout in Alta Vista, we were looking for an interior designer to help us with the remodelling and reconfiguration. Melanie came highly recommended. She was able to see the same potential we saw in the home. She took the time to get to know us and understand what would function for our family in terms of style and layout. She helped us think outside the box and choose finishes that were elegant, modern and timeless while staying within our budget. We are so pleased with the final product.

Launch Your Space was incredible to work with. The team was incredibly responsive to all our needs and changes and was a not to work with. They made our renovation experience as smooth as possible by liaising with our contractor for things we did not to be part of but included us when necessary, the perfect balance.
