We are using Rishon Motors for about a year now. Boris has always got our boat in and serviced quickly. He’s an honest guy and his rates are better than other services around town.

So I booked an appointment to help check out any problems with my dad's boat, the store— which is now called Barrie Alignment & Brakes moved from Vaughan to Barrie which wasn't much of a problem as long as they help get the job done. When they inspected the boat, they said that it needs a new battery and a tune-up. That was $360 in total.. I don't know if that was standard price but it took them quite a while to get the boat. It took about a week to get the boat back. My dad was worried that they weren't working on it because it took a surprisingly long time— I was calling every few days to check up on the progress and it really rubbed them the wrong way. When we got the boat back, they charged us a total of $620. They told me and my dad that it is because they also cleaned the carburetor but never asked if they could do so beforehand or even informed us. It was reassuring that they were understanding at first but my two cents on how they can improve is informing the customers and providing exceptional customer service, especially over the phone. It wouldn't have been an issue if they were a lot more welcoming and nice to concerned customers.

I went to their address in Vaughn but they had moved to Barrie :(

wasted 5 minutes on the phone with the girl who answered the phone. she simple knows nothing about boats when I asked about transom repairs. he asked me to spell it out and had to check with the mechanic.should be a simple yes or no answer.
