If you’re looking for Japanese cuisine, here is the place. Quiet, elegant and has a nice bar. Serve alcohol as well

I went there yesterday and tried the kansai style Okonomi yaki with chicken flavor... it was extremely tasty!!!! (There was another person who also ordered the Okonomi yaki and when his Okonomi yaki was coming... All the house was full of the odour! The waiters were extremely nice too! I will definitely go there again! (Went there again with my friend one day later! My friend loves their food too!)

Nice little restaurant with very friendly staff! Decent quality sushi at about an average price. Great spot to dine in with some family or friends.

Great Japanese gem out in the Dunbar area. Must try the Okonomi-Yaki! Made from scratch and not the prepackaged frozen variety. One of the reasons i keep coming back. The sushi is great; it's pricier than the average sushi restaurant but for good reason!

Very happy with this restaurant in our neighborhood! Lovely family runs it and their food is always fantastic. Prices are also very reasonable.

As a person that tries spicy scallop roll, this is THE best I’ve ever had. And the fried mackerel was fresh and amazing. Cute ambience and worth the drive from the North Shore to this family owned friendly restaurant. Great for kids too!

Delicious, fair prices. Very nice environment to enjoy a delicious meal. Their food is really good, my wife and I have been eating here since when we first started dating and it’s such a lovely place to eat. Also a great spot for any foodie who wants to experience true Japanese cooking.

My friend and I visited Vancouver three or so months ago. We were looking for a good meal for our way back, so we decided to go here.It was some of the best damn Japanese food I’ve ever had and I had literally been in Tokyo the week before.I got a bento box filled with perfectly cooked tempura, salad coated with a not too salty vinaigrette, fluffy rice, fresh cooked salmon, and a good dipping sauce. The price was quite low for the quality, it was only around $20CAD for the bento box and hot tea.My friend and I were so amazed by the food that we could have cried. It was wonderful. The owners were there, they were super fun to chat with and they were so kind.Thank you for the meal that I dream about months later Kuma!

Wow. The sushi was super fresh, high quality, and amazing. The spicy scallop roll was something else when I took my first bite...and then the next piece, and next piece... were just as good! The ebi was clean and delicious. I also had the rainbow roll which was satisfying. Probably one of the best I have had in a long time. The service was wonderful as well. I highly recommend. Also had the spicy agedashi tofu which I loved, but forgot to take a pic.
