CIBC Branch with ATM
Worst banking experience I had ever encountered. Came in to pay my bill, I have my cibc bank card. Then she asked for ID, I give her my driver license. Then she asked for another ID. What the hell. Why is it so hard to do banking here. I had never experienced this before treating me like a criminal. CIBC needs to step in and fix this problem. I don’t think I’ll ever return to this type of service again if they don’t fix this. Worst service ever.

Was a new elementary teacher in the autumn of 1964. Went to branch to cash a cheque in the enormous amount of $20.00. Had not banked there before. Was rudely refused. Went to downtown branch of Scotiabank and they cashed the cheque. Decided to open an account there. Have banked with them for 54 years. Courtesy and service count with me. AJG

I can't believe that CIBC won't cash,in full, an Ontario Government cheque.My cheque is from The Ontario Trillium Benefit Program. Its a refund cheque giving me some of my money back from all my prescription receipts I send them.Its a government program.But, they said its the provincial program, so they needed to put a hold on it for 5 days, only releasing $100.

Unhelpful. Dirty. The tellers are unfriendly. It's a hassle to do basic banking. Go to any other bank
