Bureau d'Accueil Touristique du Vieux-Montréal

We visited Montreal a week ago from Vancouver and I had several days to explore the city on my own. I always try to make a tourist info centre my first stop in any new city, and I'm so glad I popped by this office--a couple of times! It was wonderful to meet François, who exemplifies the courtesy, professionalism, and warm welcome you can typically expect at these info centres. I very much appreciated being able to practice my French with him, and his clear communication, advice, and encouragement. I absolutely loved my time in Montreal, and I can't wait to return (peut-être l'été prochain, si possible!!) We visited Montreal for 3 days with some friends. We went by the visitor center to ask for some tips & we had the most friendly employee in front of us! Usually I would never write a review about a tourist information center, but his explanation was great. He knew everything we asked, even vegan restaurants & recommended us to go to the light show in the Basilique (which was awesome!). Keep up the good work and thanks again for the great tips!

Friendly people, lots of maps and information.

What a fantastic tourist information bureau. With a friendly welcome, the staff member answered a few initial questions and then provided us with many sight seeing options including detailed map instructions for each of over a dozen ideas. Highly recommend that you spend a few minutes here even if you have been to Montreal once or twice before since new shows and events come up that you may not be aware of.
